- This is an impromptu video of a quick visit to the the American Girl store after work. I hope you enjoy this video since it includes a good deal of footage of the store, background music playing in the store, announcements since the store was closing and they were trying to get the customers out of the store.

I’m so happy to hear this because I rush to put it together after work today just so I can get it out there for everybody. It’s just such a treat walking through the stores and seeing everything. Unfortunately I got there close to the store being closed so I didn’t get to enjoy it as much as I wanted to but thankfully I can go anytime.
Nice tour I am going there next week as the kids are out of school and New York is my local store.
That sounds fun. The perfect thing to do when the kids are out of school.

You are so welcome. I’m so happy to hear that because that is exactly what I was trying to accomplish and the reason why I didn’t cut out all the background noise. I’m sure you picked up on the fact that they were rushing us out of the store, but that didn’t stop me from taking my video footage lol

I love their displays. I'll bet you get lots of ideas from looking at them. It must be exciting to live and work in a big city like NYC. Our town has 1800 people and the closest large city is Boise, ID. 🤩
Yes, the city has many benefits. But there are also lots of drawbacks like the cost-of-living is ridiculously high here. Sounds like you live in a really nice place and I bet a lot of the residents know each other.

Very often. I was just there yesterday. I live right outside of NYC.
Yeah, the displays are fabulous! They have a pillow fight one ….maybe I’ll put my new clips into a reel on IG.
I want to visit NYC so bad. Its on my list of vacay spots

Good video. I grew up with american girl. I used to get there magazines when i was younger
I have an interview coming up with them and i'm so nervous. They said it will be a a hiring event and interviews will be on the spot. Does that mean group interview. I hate group interviews. I've only ever had one group interview which i didn’t expect at the time
I'm always nervous on interviews regardless of what kind it is
I was thinking about asking the person who reached out to me to inquire if it will be group or individual but idk if i should
How many floors do they have? How many locations do they have. Is there biggest location
I'm glad you liked my video :) ...Now as far as the interview is concerned...I interview people all the time in my work world would offer the following thoughts:
1) Try real hard to be calm and most importantly let your genuine self come through
2) If you are meant to work at AG - you will be there. If not, then it is not the place for you.
3) Group interviews are actually advantageous to you since you know what you are "up" against and can see how to tailor your responses.
4) I would just go with the flow and show them that you are easy going and can go with the flow - Employers look for people like that/this...or at least I do because there are always changes and disruption on a regular basis and I need people who can adjust with out advance or any notice at all.
5) You are asking the right questions - do research and find out the actual locations, brush up on where the headquarters office is in California, see if there are any stats that you can find on line.
6) Have fun with it and demonstrate your love and passion for the brand - if you do this I am certain you will land the job!
