I love how his drummer and pedal steel guitar player are older gentlemen. This is how I vision my country band; about 6 musicians aged anywhere between 25 to 75; however, it is really really hard to find that and remain consistent!

Cheetah Thunders. - So true. Yet comparing this band to SD would be futile. Simply because SD, in my humble opinion is one of the best live bands EVER !!! Third only to The Ramones & Motörhead (w/Lemmy/Filthy Phil/Fast Eddie).

But I actually discovered Nick 13, his band Tiger Army 13 actually, when I saw them open for SD, and it was one of the few times I became an instant fan of a band as soon as I saw them. Another time was seeing Flogging Molly on a side stage of a festival, I bring it up b/c the singer was once in a band with Fast Eddie.
Well....only during the verse, the chorus is completely different....and if you want to really get technical there are probably a bazillion & one other songs with the same chords, in the same progression, but with different vocal melodies.
