- The Pirates Live at Dingwalls. Originaly Johnny Kidd and the Pirates, with hits such as "Shakin' All Over". They have influenced famous musicians the world over for decades, (Robert Plant, Paul McCartney, Pete Townsend). Considered to be one of the greatest Rock and Roll bands of all time. This is a rare clip from a long lost show, Live at Dingwalls...R.I.P. Mick Green...
I had heard of Johnny Kidd & The Pirates & Shakin' All Over (of course), but didn't know The Pirates were tearin' it up like this - what a great f***n' band!!

What a power trio. Saw them live a few times in 1977. Fantastic live. What a great style and sound Mick Green had. He really was the guitarists’ guitarist. He was loved and played with many of the world wide bands and players. Fantastic unique style. 🙋♂️🇬🇧👏👏👏
seen the Pirates at the Marquee blew my mind amazing band .

It seems churlish to point out that the great Mick Green didn't play on the original Shaking All Over, but it's true.

He's still bloody good, though
Great stuff from back in the day! Everybody's teenage bands, including mine, did Shakin' All Over. What year was this, just out of interest?

this film wasn't lost when i saw it continuously in England from 1981 forward....LOL. here on youtube, it's merely stolen.
Never expected to be grateful to a thief, but I am. My knowledge never went beyond the original Shakin' all over but this lot are class too, I can smell the sweat!
