  • It is highly illegal to alter or change a vehicle number plate IN ANY WAY because they are ‘ leased ‘ from the DVLA. Altering the Rear Yellow Colour / darkening the Front White Reflective colour or adding an Anti-Camera film / darkening / lightening a registration plate is an offence under the Road Traffic Act (2001).
    GB News has now brought this concern to the attention of millions.
    I ask GB News to share and use any of this Channel's Film Footage (freely as they so desire) to help illustrate the grave and growing illegal problems on our UK roads today.
    The law is CLEAR: You cannot alter or deface a vehicle number plate in any way and it must also be displayed in the correct position on a vehicle, front and rear. Not in the window !
    This includes TRADE PLATES.

    Why not let members of the public take a photo of the vehicle on a public road and send it straight to the DVLA.
    If the plate is illegal just send the fine straight to the cars owner.
    As it stands I think it has to been seen and reported/recorded by a police officer.
    Pretty dumb as they are missing out on MILLIONS in fines. There's probably less than 1 in 1000 offending cars get pulled over every day.
    Same with illegal parking. There's NEVER anyone there to enforce it.

    Yet the irony is that shoplifting is no longer considered a crime, burglary will not be investigated and theft from a vehicle is looked upon as "well, it's your fault for having nice things in your car".... But, tinker with a number plate, and you're up before the beak, and on your way to gaol before you've had your breakfast!

    IF this catchall tax hadn't been foisted on people then the law wouldn't be broken. Galling when the airlines takeoff and blow their pollutants over the 'clean air zone'

    Magna Carta of 1215;
    • Clause 39, “No freeman shall be arrested or imprisoned or disseised or outlawed or exiled or in any way victimised, neither will we attack him or send anyone to attack him, except by the lawful judgment of his peers or by the law of the land”, and
    • Clause 40, “To no-one will we refuse or delay right or justice”, of the original Magna Carta of 1215 are still in full force and effect, and that the expression “law of the land” means Common Law, as defined in the foregoing
    Legislation is NOT the Law & requires your consent.

    Some drivers tamper with their number plates not only to avoid speed cameras etc., but because it’s a pride thing. But there is also the criminal element for altering the number plate, the same reason for cloning or using faults plates.

    Observance of due Process of Law (1368)
    III. None shall be put to answer without due Process of Law.
    It is assented and accorded, for the good Governance of the Commons, that no Man be put to answer without Presentment before Justices, or Matter of Record, or by due Process and Writ original, according to the old Law of the Land: And if any Thing from henceforth be done to the contrary, it shall be void in the Law, and holden for Error.
    Fines are unlawful. Fines are government created 'legislation', require consent & are bound by corporate contracts. Men & women (the living) are not permitted to enter into contracts with corporations, their rules, see their Black's Law Dictionary definitions.

    If the government issued number plates and used metal pressed plates there wouldn’t be a issue, they deserve all the trouble they make they can’t jail everyone prisons are bursting. Everyone should get plates of internet and really make them think it’s a good protest, as you’re allowed to protest in U.K. many do as seen on tv and blocking the roads with stupid orange banners

  • @kjh789az
    @kjh789az 9 місяців тому +1

    An interesting and pertinent discussion. (Pity the remote sound quality was poor.)
    Policing by consent generally works in a democracy, but the UK has lost so many freedoms under Tory rule that it is inevitable that there will be a reaction to this. The right to protest peacfully now seems pretty much non- existant; if you don't approve of the King, you may not say so on the street. If you wish to vote locally or in a GE, you must prove your identity by showing an approved document. If you wish to drive, you must comply with the blanket introduction of lower speed limits; the lowering of the traditional 30 mph limit to 20 mph is a source of much frustration. Accessing the capital by car, or commercial vehicle is seriously expensive unless your vehicle is in an exempt category, or, of the right emission specification.
    Taken individually each of these limimits on freedom of conduct is significant. Taken together, the UK appears oppressive. As we saw during Thatcher's badly managed introduction of the poll tax, tgere comes a point where the law is at odds with the feelings of tge individual to such an extent that rioting and civik disobedience follow. It is perhaps surprising that there has been so little defiance by motorists, and others. The theft of UKEZ cameras is one consequence of a punative law. The Home Secretary, currently a little to the right of most dictators in her views and actions, is now attempting to deny the rights of the public to support Palastine - appsrently, waving a flag is a crimunal act. It us not. It is worthy if note, in conclusion, that several of these restrictions on histirical democratic freedoms have been enacted under a PM who has not been elected by the British people.

    What they should do it make it the same as Hong Hong, who followed a British style system but then changed the law so that you could buy anything you wanted from their DVLA equivalent (to a certain extent). If they did that here though it would probably upset those who have plates that resemble custom plates. Search youtube for "custom hong kong license plates" they use the same white / yellow format as UK.

    PARTIES COMPETENT TO CONTRACT;
    Black’s Law Dictionary;
    • Parties competent to contract - The parties to a contract should be competent, being of the age of majority / consent, of sound mind, and not disqualified from contracting by any law to which s/he is subject. A flaw in capacity may be due to minority, lunacy, idiocy, drunkenness or status. The status of the parties should be of like kind, being artificial Legal Person and artificial Legal Person, OR Living Man / Woman and Living Man / Woman, allowing two or more parties BUT NEVER A MIXTURE OF THESE KINDS.
    Black’s Law Dictionary;
    • Free and Genuine Consent - The consent of the parties to the agreement must be free and genuine. The consent of the parties should not be obtained by misrepresentation, fraud, undue influence, coercion or mistake. If the consent is obtained by any of these means, then the contract is not valid or lawfully enforceable.
    NO CONTRACT = NO OBLIGATION.

    Your video is showing some mis-spaced plates amongst altered plates. Let’s be clear a fake
    plate or an altered by dots to change the letter is wrong.
    But a mis spaced plate with legal font and minimum legal spacing SHOULD be allowed. 1 the Dvla make a shed load from selling and auctioning plates that form names. 2. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY if you have legal font, and legal minimum gap… and an ANPR can not read that correctly the ANPR SYSTEM IS SHITE!
    I got no problem with legal font and plates that have a letter moved because the ANPR system proudly used to fine and penalise people should work perfectly fine and the authorities who use these system should expect them to work perfectly in THIS scenario. Any police officer stopping you for this reason will look stupid in suggesting ANPR gets confused by misspaced plates in legal font if the digits are valid and no letters altered. They are stating it’s unreliable and therefore not fit for purpose. I don’t think your report is fair , misplaced plates are not people avoiding fines or ULEZ, ONLY FAKE AND ALTERED LETTERS are related to avoiding ANPR fines

    UNITED KINGDOM vehicle number plates should be issued “each year” as a metal pressed plate, when road taxing a vehicle, as is done in Germany where they don’t have these problems. Fines should be increased with a 3 month ban as a minimum deterrent. More severe cases, as with the silver BMW shown within this film should be taken to Court.
