That was my favourite poker game, i miss playing that and i was addicted to it and all that money down the drain after buying clothes etc for your character.
I feel like poker games really need to be free to play to be successful. They live or die based on player volume, and you're just not going to get that volume at a $25 price point. Don't get me wrong, I'm not being cheap I'd happily pay $25 for a healthy poker game with lots of players...I just don't see it happening.
@@fareshejazi2297 true but that’s better than empty tables. Have to make it free but make people protective of their chips. Prominence poker does a decent job at this. The very low level games are full of people going all in but if you can build up some chips and get into mid level stakes people actually play fairly reasonable because they don’t want to lose their way back down to the low levels 😂 they even sell chips, which is a great way to add revenue and make chips valuable without requiring purchase.

WSOP or a big name need to put a F2P version on there and actively promote tournaments everywhere. Prominence is probably the best poker game on PlayStation. Pokerist is a bit bare bones. Four Kings has a ton of players but that's different.
I was hype for this game and quickly bought it. It the characters feel like robots and the gameplay is just slow. It's slower than live to be honest. But I do hope they come up with fixes soon
Was going to buy this for ps5 hoping it was like "full house poker for 360" instead find out it crashed on startup and has no voice chat option. Glad I didn't purchase it kind of sad that nobody can recreate the magic of that old 360 full house poker game that's a decade old.

In my opinion, the game to beat in this genre is WSOP 2008: Battle for the Bracelets. That one, released in 2007, includes a LOT of oddities and poor design decisions. If a game made in 2020 can't beat *that* standard...it's a joke. I don't even need to play this to know it sucks complete donkey balls. Zero actual poker players would enjoy it.

I know. The game even screws up at playing poker right. I actually would take a refund. Playstation has to relax their refund policy. Too many broken games nowadays.
Top POKER game this I love it.... Just got a few server issues every now and then but overall this I give 9 out of 10... .... Don't listen to these other people moaning about the minor issue that it freezes at start up, you just restart game simple problem solved, it did it to me once and has not happened since, and what's funny is people saying its slow lol havnt obviously a clue about poker, poker is a patience game. Overall this is SUPERB Poker Game, and if you are new to poker it explains absolutely everything professionally how to play. highly recommend it
It's functional right now on PC but not perfect like I mentioned in the video. Maybe wait for a few patches. But if you have to play videogame poker right now it will suit the purpose.

Unfortunately the Company making Poker Club don't seem to care about what makes a Poker game a good one. And therefore this game fails miserable in several ways. From horrible AI (the worst i have ever experienced) to things like, the cards not being pushed inwards on the table when a player Folds so you can't visually know its a Fold... No voice announcing a Raise, making you Call a Raise you did not want to Call.. And several other Bugs... In general this game is a misfire from Launch... And still, one year later is a Bug ridden Mess.
Their new update sucks they made it impossible to win now before the latest update i used to make big money on the $2500 table and I would make over $100000 now with this stupid update that came out recently I always lose

Its poker... who gives an 8th of a shit about graphics? How about the fact that when 2 or more players go to a showdown it zooms in on the board, and you never see the hands that are actually in the hand... a million poker things that this poker game just doesn't get right... server issues are fixable, building a poker game that is bad at poker might not be...
RIPSTONE did it again terrible game more bots than players. round the table raise.raise,rasie then lose against ripstones rip off bots. just like ripstone snooker 2019 rubish bots are that bad its like having a virus in my pc AVOID THIS GAME AT ALL COST. just takes my electricity for watching them bots win with ridiculous hands. what a joke and not enough table stakes selection.

Yeah, it's not as refined or "next gen" as I was hoping either. The potential is there with some fixes to make it a pretty enjoyable poker experience.

Tried the game for some time now. The game lacks personality and has no fun factor. All the graphics in the world cannot make up for this.
Definitley a slow pace to this one. Poker is inherently fun but the game could have benefited from quickening the speed of gameplay.
