Now that I had my hand on the games it's not just Wario land and cartoon network it's all platformers from the early 2000's. I have no idea how people thought this ripped off pizza tower. Pizza tower is kind just Wario land 5 this is a whole new game.
Why did you write an entire segment about the options it's just default settings except frame skipping which is nice for a retro feel and the lack of a borderless window option.
Look's mostly alot like pizza tower more than wario. The timed running sections in wario were only in warioland 4. That being said, I'm going to pick this game up. Much like pizza tower, I wouldn't have given this game a chance until I saw a review on it.
nah mate. the movement has WAY more of a wario feel, anton is sluggish & devastating rather than fast & reckless like peppino. the artstyle and sound design are extremely wl4-inspired, and the general promotion of the game is akin to one you would see in the early 2000s. the ONLY thing that could be compared to pizza tower is the timed sections, and that is DIRECTLY from wario land 4, and even used in shake it.
@@tumbletunes3101 Ill have to play the game myself. I liked the slower speed of the older wario games, and and didn't see pizza tower as a clone. It WAS very much like the ending section of levels in W4 after you got the key. I don't remember my playthrough of shake it, i remember it being mediocre and being disapointed.
Not gonna lie, Warioland is one of my favorite series and I DID NOT LIKE PIZZA TOWER! I found the controls too hair trigger, the speedrun nature of the game a bit much, and the level design too boring. It felt more like playing a sonic game! High hopes for this because i need me some wario.
@vadim_65rus hey! I'm glad that those things really float your boat! I suppose we game for different reasons. It seems you really like taking the time to master a games mechanics and shooting for the best scores, whereas I like these types of games for the exploration, the set pieces, and the goofiness. It's not that I don't like fast-paced action sequences, but if EVERYTHING is bombastic, then it tends to get exhausting.
@markurbanowicz6619 not at all! I think it was the speed at which Pizza Tower moves and the slipperiness of its controls that really had me worried. I played through the demo and really liked it so I'm excited to sink my teeth into this on the weekend!
Pizza Tower was my jam. This… looks fine ig. I'm not into that edgy spikey art style and the music seems less inspired/insane from what I saw. Also the cutscenes are too long for my taste albeit the really good voice acting, but tell less, act more! PT manages to tell everything necessary with no spoken dialogue.
Will you be checking out ANTONBLAST? Let us know in the comments below!
Anton blast and pizza tower are like brothers, i like both equaly and they both have their own charm

Love a frenzied mustache platformer 😂
Sorry Pizza Tower, considered yourself more then overshadowed In "blasltin'" smoke!
Pretty sure that wont happen with pt?
Why is this game not on the switch yet??
It says 3rd/December
Great game! I just bought it!
Hope you enjoy it!
@@IDreamofIndieabsolutely! Loved the demo!

For the very reason you just described, so people understand the options.
Played the demo, that screen-shake made me nauseous. Is there an option to turn it off? I own Antonblast Deluxe and would love more of that dude.
I believe this was mentioned in the review but yes you can adjust it!
Love the crude attitude
Is this better than the goat pizza tower?
Is at the same level as pizza tower, they both are goats
both are good, but to me the art of this game is top tier, plus it has a really good voice acting

Shake it had the timed segments as well.
"The timed running sections were only in warioland 4."
Nope.

I liked pizza tower for those exact reasons. It really does play like a sonic game when you go for p ranks

I hope that you don't mind Crash Bandicoot? It plays more like Wario Land mixed with Crash Bandicoot
