I was watching the Moonlit Wilderness video a few days ago, and I was thinking, "man, I hope they cover Dragon's Nest due to its appearances" and lo and behold, here we are!
I really love all the music version of Dragon's nest! For the alternative version with dark resurrection, I did not knew about the shock wave with it's creative narrative. Pokken also has my favorite legendary "rayquaza" in his mega form with a statue and the floor symbols. I truly agree that rayquaza is super cool! Overall, this is definitely one of the stages i like to believe the tekken team loves much that they made these variations for pokken and tekken 7 after tekken 5! Great video as always ^_^
I always wondered about representation & symbolism in Tekken stages. I'd love to see you do a breakdown for Devil Jin, his themes and his stages in T5 & T5DR. Amazing video!
Oh this is a great stage Before watching, I'm kind of wondering if the Pokken version of this stage is going to appear in the video Edit: wait, I see the timestamp, was not disappointed, GREAT VIDEO!
For me, it seems like in the Day version there is a storm approaching from the east(I think is the east. Which if is, it is a nice nod to the Tiger motif), and in the other version, the storm has arrived, which makes the stage even darker.
a very well created video about dragon's nest! One thing you probably didnt knew that if leroy was in a match in this stage and at the 3rd or final round ,his theme kicks in. its an exclusive round theme he has in tekken 7. i checked your previous videos and i hope to see more videos about the tekken stages you plan to cover next!
Thank you for letting me know about leroy! That’s interesting they had that for him on that stage and for Lars in the city stage. Also i definitely do plan to talk a lot more about tekken! It’s my favorite series so I have a lot to say about all their stages
Honestly I think Tekken 5 has the best overall collection of stages in the series as all of them are kinda iconic and unique in their own way. You could also do a video like this for stages like cathedral or hidden garden
Awesome vid! It would be cool if you did some of the Stages of Street Fighter 6, a personal pick would be Fete Foraine, it's one of the, if not the, most loved stages on the game!❤
Great video. I'm really glad that you covered the Pokken version. There's actually a multi-part video series that goes over the background Pokemon in all the Pokken stages using free cam, and it shows that bird Pokemon that flies by is indeed a Braviary, so kudos for the correct guess on that lol. Also, apparently the real Rayquaza cameos on the stage too, but it's practically impossible to see during normal gameplay.
YOO!!! That dragon at 0:33 secs is from the NYC Lantern Festival at the stadium in Staten Island 😂 I thought it was my picture for a sec but mine is facing the other way. I went when it was at Snug Harbor though. That alone gets you a thumbs up! Awesome video as always! Keep up the great work!
I called it, yay! I stick with Garden of the Tiger, it looks more ominous and powerful, not to mention the track is SUPER powerful (one of my personal favorite tracks from the T5DR OST). And yeah, most tracks from T5DR are remixes form the T5 ones, with lots of elements shared (except the one from Moonlight Wilderness and Poolside, which remixes suck and have nothing from the original tracks). The T7 music is quite generic and forgettable. I also wonder why they didn't make a remix from Those Who Go To Heaven or Garden of the Tiger. I modded my PC version of T7 so I can play both tracks instead of that generic noisy tracks it has by default.
I'm so happy that a UA-camr is analyzing Fighting Game Stages. To pointing out what's going on in the background, to detailling both their culture and it's soundtrack. I hope you do more Tekken Videos. Idk if you'll read this comment, but I have a question? Did you know if you play Leroy in this stage and round 2 hits. His theme plays?
I'm guessing this stage is in 7 because it was planned for Tag 2, but missed the deadline. Alot of stages in Tag 2 were callbacks, and the rest felt like random ones you'd see in 6, that's just wild speculation, though. Oh, and Baberutless, if you ever want a challenge, you should check out Super Cosplay War Ultra for stages. It's heavily inspired by Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix, and the stages are littered with cosplay references. It's also just a fun and cute free game.
That’s a very good theory! Potentially even the opposite of maybe they started doing it with this stage in tekken 7 with a plan to bring more classic stages or ran out of budget or something? Also I’ve never even heard of cosplay wars before and looking at the backgrounds that would be a challenge to do for sure
@@baberuthless Yes. That being said, who do you think could have this stage as their own in Soul Calibur? Odd choice, but I think this would fit Kilik.
@@baberuthless That is very humble of you, but don't down play the value you bring. Boundary Break doesn't go into the cultural or aesthetic analysis of backgrounds. They focus mostly on the technical side of development. So, exploring several aspects would make for an incredible deep dive that I'm sure would make for some great videos. On their channel, they could get your insight and possible meanings behind a game's location or look. And on your channel we can get a close up of what some of these elements look like and how it may have been developed. I really think it'd be a great fit.🥰
I think of feng wei when I see this stage. This is his and then secondly Marshall law
Oh and lei wulong whenever he takes on board his drunken master style and kung fu fit
I think of the two of them as well when i think of this stage 😆
Glad you snuck in pokken in this video!
This was all I needed to see to know this video will be good
I was watching the Moonlit Wilderness video a few days ago, and I was thinking, "man, I hope they cover Dragon's Nest due to its appearances" and lo and behold, here we are!

Legit think this is probably one of your best breakdowns. Great job!
I always wondered about representation & symbolism in Tekken stages. I'd love to see you do a breakdown for Devil Jin, his themes and his stages in T5 & T5DR.

I like that idea of the storm coming in over time, I’m glad you brought that up!
Really thorough! Even went as far as to analyse the Pokkén one. Thanks for a new tekken vid
Thank you so much! 😄
Really underrated. I do think that Dragon's Nest has some of the best tracks in the entire franchise. Awesome video!
Thank you! ☺️
I had no idea about the Pokken version of the stage. That's awesome.

I do agree Tekken 5 was the series at its peak with stages. Never was really a fan of the wore torn theme tekken 6 and onward has

Wow I am amazed I guessed correctly in that 😅 I need to find that series do you know the channel name? That sounds awesome
Glad I found your channel! Loving the fighting game breakdowns.
I appreciate that! Glad you found me too ☺️
I never noticed the other dragon in the background before, despite having played tons of T5. Interesting!

Haha that’s a pretty funny coincidence 😆

Another great vid.As a Tekken fan i suggest Tekken Tag 2 stages. Those are full of personality.☺️
Tag 2 has some of the best stages in the series and the fact they did so many was insane
I called it, yay!

I wish they had a remix of those who go to heaven or garden of the tiger! I would have loved to hear what those could have sounded like.
Pokken Tournament mentioned!!!! 👀
I like this format alot and I hope you do an analysis of the Tekken 8 stages.
Thank you! I certainly plan too! Got a lot to say 😁
I like all Tekken soundtracks but Tekken 3 is my favorite one, it's pretty much The Prodigy album The Fat of the Land 2.0 but in a fighting game.
I'm so happy that a UA-camr is analyzing Fighting Game Stages. To pointing out what's going on in the background, to detailling both their culture and it's soundtrack. I hope you do more Tekken Videos.

Very interesting video, thank you. Could you please make a video on Electric Fountain from T6? One of my favorite stages from that game
Not in my top ten tekken's stages, but good job as always😊

Feng's stage
Some universe (or company depending how you look at it), but this stage could've passed as a stage for Soul Calibur.
kinda wish that would happen between tekken and soul calibur. I like the idea of them sharing stages but i guess they were just doing their own thing
@@baberuthless Yes. That being said, who do you think could have this stage as their own in Soul Calibur? Odd choice, but I think this would fit Kilik.
