Checking Out the 2023 Kentucky Derby & Kentucky Oaks Horses At Dawn at the Downs | Morning Workouts

In this video we check out Dawn at the Downs. This event starts about a week before the Kentucky Derby where they let people come to Churchill Downs and allow them to view the morning workouts for the different race contenders.
How this works is the gates open at 7:00AM each day and the Kentucky Derby and Kentucky Oaks horses come out at 7:30AM. They work out for about ~15 minutes only though. After that, other racehorses come out for their morning workouts but obviously the draw is to see the Derby and Oaks horses. The other thing cool about this is it is a free event.
It is a really fun thing to do although it all happens in a whirlwind (specifically with the horses from the big races). Needless to say, I shot a lot of video, in a very short amount of time.
