Mexico Lindo, Knoxville, TN | Trying Some Mexican Cuisine In Knoxville | 4K

During a recent trip to Knoxville, TN, we checked out a Mexican restaurant named Mexico Lindo. Mexico Lindo translates to "Pretty Mexico". It is located in the North Cedar Bluff Plaza which is a small strip mall on the west side of town and just happened to be close to my hotel, so we decided to try it out.
It is owned and operated by a family from Mexico and has been around since 2006 which makes it 17 years at the time of this video.
According to their menu, they are famous for their Tamales, so you know I had to eat them. A good rule of thumb for any restaurant you are not familiar with is going with what they are known for.
Let's see how our visit went and what we thought of the food.

Absolutely best tamales in the known universe. Hands down. (OK, never been to Mexico so take that with a salt rimmed glass)
Oddly enough, their fries are pretty damn good.
When I get tamales I get just tamales, not the supremos because I just like the purity of it. The brown sauce is an amazing addition. I usually get all pork because damn. My usual is Chile Relleos, one chicken, one beef. It's my weekly comfort food Friday.
