Amazing how this model has influenced so many Dyna builds today, even my personal Dyna i took cues from it, definitely should have had a longer production, i love my 2011 FXDB. I could listen to George all day .

Excellent video and a great looking bike. I have a 1999 FXDX and it came stock with a 130 rear tire. The 2000 and up FXDX's had the 150's.

I have a 2002 Harley fxdx and love it but being a club bike I need a second bike because of age and mileage. So I bought what I’m told is the best of the DYNA s. I bought a 2015 fxdb
Street bob and wow what a fantastic bike everything is all ready done. they are already 96 or 103 and so fast and reliable it as uprated Harley shocks already as the super fat forks and spoke wheels so the handling is like a sports bike. Not only does it not wobble but you can drift it . The brakes are fantastic. My point is sometimes it’s cost effective to buy one already sorted. At least mostly sorted and being one of the last of the DYNA s are going to be sort after too. Please don’t think I’m downing the superglide sport I love them. . Hope I’ve not upset anyone. It’s a great video and it’s good to listen to like mined Harley Davidson guys

It may handle good for a harley, but I guarantee a sport bike is in a different league than a street bob.

rsafree1 I’m not a topical Harley even though I am a club rider. I ride my Harley more like super moto. It amazes me how well it corners. It’s top speed is about 140. So no it beat my blade it’s a lot more fun than my Diavel The Harley is faster up-to about 80 mph. And because it’s low it’s silly quick around tight and twisty s
I can honestly tell you it one of must fun bikes I’ve ever owned.
I’m not a Harley fan most of them are rubbish but I love mine. But I love the blade too

Been riding everything with a motor pretty much my whole life, born in Ca and raised in ct, I love the videos and ALL the bikes, just sold my 2012 yz450f due to tuff times but I have a 4 year old now and it’s time to get him one and me another but in the meantime I would love to come check u guys put with the fam, I’ll have to check out if your open, but love from the negron family and hope to meet u one day ken, grew my hair out and it’s as long if not longer than your haha god bless to you and your family hope to meet u guys one day 🤙🏼

When I start a wobble I put my foot under my rear brake and stiffen the bike by pulling up and becoming the Dyna 🤌🏻👌🏻
those wheels look good, one of the best performance increase one could make is lighter wheels. go from a 17lb wheel to 7 youll notice it

Are the cases the same for the 883 and the standard 1200?
An old mentor of mine told me 38 degrees on the head tube was the best for him handling wise but that was back in the shovel head hard tail days, guess I'll just mess around with rear suspension hight and find out what's good for me

I have a chance to buy a stock 2003 FXDX, was there major changes made in 2003 as opposed to 01 & 02 ? Should I not bother and search for an 01 or 02?
The 2003 had the pressed crank, Which will not withstand as much horsepower I would have to ask George about any other changes

The 03 is a great bike. The only difference is the main bearing on the left side of the crankshaft. Simply not as tough as the earlier style dual taper roller bearing. If your an average ride, no issues but if you like to twist it up on a regular basis, your going to want to upgrade the bearing to the Screaming Eagle bearing.
Part # for the bearing is 24004-03b
So if I get a 1999 and upgraded the cam chest wouldn't that be just as good as 01-02?
Allll kinds of videos too, telling you every bike has some sort of speed wobble, and if u let of the handle bars all together....no tight grip at all, in fact zero, you can see the wobble, and it gets worse

The M8 engine line from Harley did in fact design the cases to handle much larger bore than the twin cam.

Or any one want to look at myne looks like the one the girl was on ecept i have steel braided lines and black high drag bars and it looks killer ive had more compliments on my bike i have all black every thing is black except the part that the bolt holds my seat down on fender is crome and crome spoke rims
