Thanks for your great heart in saving the pony, New York, USA. Very similar to our child's story, Our 13-year-old child was walking home from school one day when they passed a field near an abandoned farm. There, they stumbled upon a frail, skinny horse struggling to survive. With a determined heart, they decided to take the horse in and care for it. Later, they discovered that the farm was home to many other weak and neglected horses, left behind because the farm's owner could nolonger afford to take care of them. Inspired by compassion, the child's story quickly spread, touching hearts and raising aaareness about the plight of these animals. With community support, the abandoned farm was transformed into a bustling tourist attraction where visitors could meet and care for the horses. In the en the onceneglected horses found better lives, surrounded by love and care, while the farm became a symbol of kindness and hope 💞
How wonderful. What an example of a community that is full of love and compassion. Not just for people but for the animals that exist and live alongside them. Thank you for sharing.. ❤🥰.❤❤❤❤.
Listening to this story brings back so many memories of my childhood. Right from myself as a baby when mom would put me on the middle of our front lawn and let our pony out to keep an eye on me. I actually have memories of that pony trotting over and picking me up by my diaper and putting back in the center of the lawn. I had a thing about the ditch out front and kept Dandy apparently quite busy. Between myself and 3 sisters, me being the youngest we all grew up with the pony and horses. I'm 68 now and I really miss not being around horses and the things we did with them, like a bunch of us got together and formed the Nordell Riding Club, which opened us up to being in parades all around the Fraser Valley in BC Canada, Cloverdale Rodeo, trail rides, etc.
Even though this story is fictional, it isn’t too far from the truth either about what happens to some animals, I know because I’ve seen or heard about real life stories I’m my own life and experiences, where animals have been abused, starved to death, or even beaten unmercifully. In my younger teen years, I came across horses at an auction pen that were very thin and neglected animals all bunched together with little room for movement or eating of hay, which was also very muddy from all the trampling that the horses and other animals were in. It broke my heart to see them in such conditions. Many horses hooves were in very poor condition and some were limping and had gashes on their backs and legs. They were open wounds. I would have rescued one such as Sage had been, but because I lived in the city, I had no place to care for a horse. I always wanted a ranch and would have turned it into a refuge for such critters, but my life never went in that direction. For whatever reason, it wasn’t meant to be to have a horse, but throughout my life, I have adopted many animals from cats, dogs and with birds which were abused, beaten, etc., and needed my help and encouragement to survive and later live with me. A newborn pup found in a dumpster with all his siblings in -30 below zero weather conditions, birds (pigeons/doves/songbirds) found in oil and grease pits, even wildlife needing help and protection-Calling wildlife officials is the thing to do, because they can take care of them better than human individuals can, their needs are much different than those of domesticated animals…no matter what species it is….LOVE IS THE TRUTH WHICH BINDS US ALL TOGETHER AND GIVES US HOPE, AND COURAGE TO ENDURE LIFES HARDSHIPS AND CHALLENGES…without it we are truly alone. GOD IS LOVE. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
It’s heartbreaking to hear about the cruelty animals face, and your experience highlights the painful reality of their suffering. While it’s devastating that you couldn’t rescue those horses, the love and care you’ve shown to the animals you’ve adopted is inspiring. Your compassion makes a real difference in their lives, and it’s a reminder of the power of love to heal and unite us all. Calling wildlife officials for animals in need is a wise and compassionate choice. Thank you for being a voice for those who can’t speak for themselves.
When I see and hear stories like this, I wonder how many animals out there need miracles to survive. But it is also their short-lived bond that makes us appreciate them more.
A neglected horse, Sage, is rescued and slowly healed through patience, love, and the companionship of a cat named Pip. This story highlights the power of second chances and how kindness can transform broken lives.
My first horse named sunny was very badly mistreated before i got him and he was skin and bone and when i had to send him back he just fit into a single horse float
I completely agree. The people responsible for mistreating these horses should be held accountable for animal cruelty. It's heartbreaking to see animals being deprived of the chance to reach their full potential due to such inhumane treatment.
Don't you mean the people who abused the horse should be prosecuted and the story should be told to bring attention to this kind of abuse to stop it. Just because most people want to hide their head in the sand and not hear that things like this actually happen in real life doesn't mean it doesn't and you can ignore it.
You're absolutely right. Those who abuse animals should face justice, and sharing these stories is crucial to raising awareness and preventing further abuse. Ignoring the issue doesn’t make it disappear-it only allows it to continue unchecked.
@@portalofstoriesss Sadly to many people think exposing the abuse of all kinds of women and children exposes the problem and stops it, but exposing the abuse of animals is useless as if they are not a living feeling being. The don't want to hear about the uncomfortable truth about the abuses animals go through even though a animal can never grow up to tell their story after they survive the abuse it is to uncomfortable for them. But you need to remember it was the same way for sexual assault, molestation and rape victims back in the day, nobody wanted to hear about it and the women who came forward with their stories was further abused by society being call a liar or blamed for what happened. It wasn't until a overwhelming number of women started coming out that laws was finally made to stop this kind of thing especially concerning wives who where seen as property. So yes I encourage these stories especially when they are true stories because as of today I know of a Draft horse that was horrifically abused by the amish community and wears whip marks and a permanent dent in his neck for the abuse he suffered. He is old and at the end of his life tossed out by the armish community as no longer useful luckily someone bought him at a auction and someone saved him so he did not go to the glue factory. You can see this horse now on Ima Survivor sanctuary, From Suits to boot, and Longhorn Lester's on youtube his name is ROME or Roman. And he is a gentle giant given the chance to know love and tenderness after a live of abuse he suffered. He is 19 or 20 years old and most likely only has 5 years left to live at the most.
People who treat animals badly are breaking the law. They can be arrested and go to prison for animal cruelty. Putting this on the internet is awful. Just hurts more animals. Bad guys just like this and makes them worse.
Horse auctions are of another world. Horse and livestock auctions you are apt to see things that you will not see any place else. They will hide things that are wrong so that they can sell them. Once sold, you can't return them at the auction. And chances are you won't find the problem till you get home.
I completely agree. People who abuse animals are breaking the law and should be held accountable. Sharing such content online only causes more harm and encourages others to act similarly. It's important to stand up against animal cruelty and spread awareness in a way that helps protect animals, not hurt them further.
poor horse pictured is no where near a picture of a rescue. I've rescued a few horses. not good graphics since pictured horse doesn't portray anything near a rescued horse. Might be better with no horse pictured rather than that shown here. Guess showing a horse in poor condition would not be allowed. But it would add to the situation and assist getting the word out about horse neglect.
I listen to the story but I didn't see the little white horse at all the story was about the little white horse the little white horse never showed up anywhere very disappointed
Love wins ... All lives matter .... Stay in the light ... Sending love energy .... I love you all ...
Oh my goodness, I don’t have the words. I’m in tears. This story touches deeply.
Thank you 🌵👩🌾
I'm so glad this story touched your heart! It's a powerful reminder of the amazing things that can happen when we show kindness and compassion.

The stories are great but my only irritation is the material they show. At least take some time to find some pictures that adds the story. 😊
This is totally sick and people who put that on the Internet shoud be prosecuted ! (Of course if it is a real story)
😅
The people minaturing these horses should be arrested for animal cruelty! These poor horses can never reach their full potential!
