that actually seems to be an sm7! the grille has square holes instead of circular. edit: nevermind! watched through, turns out otherwise. still very cool tho
@@driftboard of course you can swap grille, they do have the same holes for the 3 screws holding it in. So if you find the older one just do it :) I would go eBay for used busted or defective mics.

It's the sm7b made in Mexico.. but has the USA square holes. It's very confusing indeed!
yet very very cool! i wish my sm7b was like that, i just repaired mine which was fairly easy. is it possible to swap grilles normally?@@TimPhoenixTV
