Thank you so much, always great to hear from you!!!
Jason GREAT WORK! You are an inspiration for modellers. IAM saving some old smoke detectors for my scene. You just have to have a little imagination when looking around the garage.
Thank you so very much Chris, I really appreciate it!!!
Beautiful work. Love it.
Thank you so much!!!
Looks brilliant your weathering and details are fantastic really like the sci-fi diorama 😀👍

Nice T-shirt Jason. Love this layout.
Thank you so much Luc!!!
One of my fav episodes!
Thanks James!!! I really appreciate it! Modeling is my passion and I love sharing it with others! 👍
Your sci fi layout is a work of art! I am building a steel mill and the section on the pipes weathering will really bring them out. As you always say the more you do rusting the better you get. A positive note I model in N scale and working on my coal town 80% are wood kits... thanks for sharing your technics! see ya next time
Thank you so much Will. I always appreciate it!!! Thanks for watching and happy modeling!!!
WOW Jason there is no limit to your imagination and talent. I can see this being the opening scene in a Hollywood Sci-fi movie. The lights add so much to enhance the color and detail of the model. Great video’s Jason, just beautiful. Take care and be safe!!
Thank you so much Johnny, I really appreciate it!!!
This is great! What is so amazing to me is your ability to look at one thing and see something entirely different. Nice work!
Thank you so much Ed!!!
Nice video Jason, looks great!!!! 👍👍
Thank you so much!!!
Looks great Jason and progressing nicely, thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much Jim, I really appreciate it!!!
Some great techniques there Jason, I'm hoping to do similar for some Alien figures so I appreciate what you are showing us. So many ideas and not enough hours in the day! Lol. Take care buddy.
Thank you so much Sean!!! I feel the same exact way. LOL
This sci-fi project is just amazing I am a big fan of your weathering knowledge and skill !!!
Wow, really fantastic work. Thanks for taking the time to show all the How-To bits. I want to try painting some of the vehicles using the rusty look you demonstrate.
Thank you so much!!! 👍
Hi Jason, its always a big WOW!! . I cant wait to see your train on this wall.
Thank you so very much Bernard!!!
Jason looks FANTASTIC!!! A suggestion- check out the crenulated tubing for bundling your computer wires together also small diameter jet vac hoses look good. You could also install some blinky lights in those plastic electrical boxes by drilling some holes and sticking the light in the hole for some warning light or control panels. It would give them a little animation. The mind boggles when you start thinking about this stuff! Again cant wait for the next installment.
Thank you so much! Great suggestions, the possibilities are endless. Thanks for watching!!!
I think your wood work in outstanding, a work of art as they say but your ability to change any piece of material into a rusty metal serface is truly incredible to me it's an incredible talent I'm always amazed.
Thank you for showing us your talents.
Thank you so much Bob, I truly appreciate it!!!
Looking awesome!!! I love your skill and creativity :)
Thank you so much, I really appreciate it!!!
Amazing work 👍This will look awesome when it's finished.
Thank you so much!!!
Great podcast at the Wiley’s with James Powell and yourself.. surprised to have heard no “ formal art training “ with your freelance in the comic book arena.. talent along with imagination is fantastic to spark anyone into modeling.. be interesting to see your work in the military vehicle field as Todd escaped to for that no mojo loss..happy modeling
Thank you so much Ed, I always appreciate the support!!!
Hoi hoi. Another great build. It’s slowly coming together, I can’t wait to see it finished. I can imagine it will take you months. I’m really looking forward to see what the train looks like. Keep them coming :)
you are so imaginative, your work and painting, weathering ,everything look fantastic so crazy modeling you give me a lot of inspiration, thank for your work and i will get some Mig products they look so easy to work whit, Happy modeling Jason
Thank you so much, I really appreciate it!!!
Nice job cool stuff looking good
Thank you so much!!!
Very cool. I think it would be neat to have some sort of maintenance access door in the wire section at the end of that big pipe.
Thank you so much!!! Anything’s possible, stay tuned...
A big fan from 2022. Love your work.
I look forward to seeing your progress! Thank you for sharing, you’ve shown me the way to great weathering. Seriously you are awesome at it!
Thank you so much, I really appreciate it!!!
More awesome building, Jason. If our cities look like this in a hundred years, they'll look back at you as a prophet, and not just a master artist.
LOL, Thank you so much Greg!!!
This video is amazing. I like how it uses scrap material and doesn't use 3d printing for everything. Congrats!
Thank you so very much!!! 👍
Great job Jason. 🏆🚂
Thank you so much!!!
They're really coming along! Great to see more sci-fi!
Thank you!!!
Looking absolutely fantastic Jason, have you thought of recreating a lit wall panels like those seen in Star Wars Imperial internal architecture suchlike on the Death Star, I've put some on my wacky railway layout just as a subtle homage. As always thanks for sharing 📏📐✂️🖊️🖌️✏️🚂
Thank you so much Alex, I always appreciate hearing from you!!! I may do some of those panels, haven’t decided yet. So many great ideas. I think this will be an on going project for years. Thanks for your support!!!
I want to see Jason and George Sellios do a 1 year build off. 4 x 8 layout, 1 year to go as crazy as possible. I think the results would be amazing.
Just Love it
Thank you so much!!!
A great job, this really is a good compendium of weathering and weathering techniques. On the other hand, given the size and the intricacy of your buildings. How do you keep it clean?
It would be appreciated any reference to this in future videos.
Good weekend.👍
Thank you so much, I really appreciate it!!!
I think I saw some of your work in some Facebook groups. You do some great stuff.
I love the way this looks.👌 Making a "fantasy-style" diorama, rather than trying to copy a real scene, gives you so much freedom to use different techniques, while still looking very realistic.
I realise it's not finished yet and some signs etc are going to add a bit of colour but I was wondering about the elevator doors: how about doing them in wasp-stripes/chevrons?
Using heavily-weathered, faded effects on colours that 𝑢𝑠𝑒𝑑 𝑡𝑜 𝑏𝑒 bright(yellow/black maybe) could add a bit of interest to the greys/blacks. Just a thought.😁
Thank you so very much!!! Great suggestion on the doors. I feel this project is never ending because I can just keep adding lots of details. Thanks for watching!!!
Realistic science fiction... 🤔 Am I the only one who finds this contradictory? 😁
Nice build btw 👍 Heavy duty.
LOL, Thanks for watching Rob!!!
1:18 scale would be closer to #3 scale I believe, but not within G or F. There’s not as much available in that scale, but some plastics are in that #3, 1:16 scale, but rarely under that #3 moniker as few even know that exists. You’d likely have to scratch build most of it, which you are doing anyhow and never seems to be a problem for you.
As always, thanks for sharing, and very interesting diversion from my “typical” modeling interests... but I’m a died in the wool SciFi fan, so you had me to begin with. Good stuff man!
Thank you so very much Andy, I really appreciate it!!!
I look forward to your content so much Jason, and this one of course, did not disappoint! Outstanding work as always! Regarding the signs, are we talking neon signs in G scale with a mid century modern look, or what exactly do you have in mind? I'm a huge fan of mid century modern architecture and googie architecture, so I have been chomping at the bit to find out about the signage!
Thanks so much! Lisa
Thank you so much for the kind words!!! My signs will be in many different languages even using the Star Wars alphabet. Same with the graffiti. I have a lot of exciting episodes coming up on the sci fi layout and my HO scale layout . It’s always great to hear from you Lisa!!!
@@JasonJensenTrains Thank you Jason! I am struggling to get motivated to work on my projects. My job really takes it out of me in my early 60's. I have my moments though, and I am sure I will get back on track Lol at some point. Thank you for your kind words! Lisa
As usual it's awesomly interesting. I've a question : have you made a plan for all your room or do you progress step by step adapting the next dio to the room ????
Thank you so much!!! I sort of have a plan but I stay pretty flexible with it. Please watch my video called Starting a G scale Sci Fi layout. It will give you an idea of the plan I have. Thanks for watching!!!
@@JasonJensenTrains Thanks ^^ I've seen all your vidéos but as i'm french sometimes i'don't totally understand all the "script" you said ^^ And make a comment is a part of supporting a channel ^^
Thanks again for your job ^^
Thank you for your support!!!
Outstanding as always, Jason! Your progressive weathering process is so good. One thing I'm curious about is how you joined the two sections of the large pipe.
Thank you so much!!! I joined them with duck tape then sprayed it with an automotive primer. Thanks for watching!
In the video you can see duct tape, probably covered later.
brilliant work jason.jpj
nice thanks man
Thank you!!!
Have you seen the final faction from Dollar Tree a set might be a good addition to your scifi figures cheap
Thanks for the suggestion!!!
@@JasonJensenTrains love your videos do you have a Goodwill marketplace near you? They are better for grabbing random bits because you pay by the pound.
Great content. It's good practise to fix pigments with some alcohol. Then You won't rubb It off with Your finger accidentialy.
Thank you so much for watching!!!
Yeah! rust is back.
Thanks Bob!!!
How did you make your catwalk railings?
Large wire screen from Home Depot. I know i show it in one of my sci fi videos but not sure which one.
@@JasonJensenTrains thanks
