Easy install, highly recommended for you manual people. Im also going to be upgrading the bushings on the shift linkage near the trans as well, should help out some! All modifications for any of the builds can be found on my website: www.thicf30.com
Yessir the build is coming together 💪 Can’t wait to see it in it’s full effect ! That crazy that the previous owner glued the shift knob on there smh 🤦♂️
I have a UUC short shifter and had loads of difficulty installing the shift knob into the slot. Felt like the slot was not wide enough for the OEM knob perhaps. The Turner Motorsport Knob fit after some assistance from a mallet. However, how would you compare UUC to Dinan? Thoughts?
Hi, will this shifter fit my 1998 bmw z3 roadster? On the dinan website it doesn't say if it would or wouldn't fit so im???? any help is appreciated thanks
im pretty sure that the shift knob would fit and I've heard of people using z4 shifters on e46s (which this shifter will also fit) so I don't see why it wouldn't. check forums tho some crazy bastard probably did it in 2007

Don’t dislike the video, you could’ve accidentally hit wrong button! However I enjoy the effort put into intro and makes it my favorite car intro yet.
This has to be one of my favourite builds!
Something so chilled about it compared to the other ones, love it mate
Thanks dude
The m3 adapter ring is probably for the euro m3 as they have a different 6 speed transmission as the us m3
I used this video as a guide to install my shifter just now. thanks man, good job.
Glad it helped
Damn short shift kits are so satisfying!
I ran into the same thing with the M3 adapter. I thought I was going crazy lol but thanks for the confirmation! Awesome video!
M3 is looking amazing 🔥🔥🔥

The build is looking great! Great series!
I would replace the body mount bushing and the transmission mount bushing. It will get rid of the slop. Plus a dssr bar from UUC.
Yessir all of that will be happening. Loads of bushings on deck
This car has been coming along nicely 👏🏽

This build is perfect. well done
Thanks
Hey dude I have a problem with my linkage I followed all the steps on putting the short shifter in and I can’t get into first third and fifth
I had this SSK with a DSSR. Really recommend that DSSR to complete it
What are the dimensions for the hole on the shift knob? Depth and diameter?
Ha funny, I love the e46 zcp shift knob, just order one for my Mini Cooper 👍🏿👍🏿.
Niceee
what is the ref of your original shifter?
its a Z3m shifter. Think it ends in #254
