I’ve made a couple doubleweave projects but I know watching this series of videos will teach me something new. I learned by reading book instructions but actually seeing something done in a video always helps me a lot. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us!
I wondered how double weaving works. Reading a book vs watching someone else explain it, I pick watching you. I learn best when someone demonstrates it. This helps me a lot! I look forward to applying this to my weaving in the near future. Definitely will rewatch it as reference.
goddess bless you ! last year, i embarked on double weaving with my 10" rigid heddle sample it loom made by ashford. i watched ALL the videos. including the tabby jack one without the second heddle which explained and confused me more. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS! I am literally waiting for my loom to dry up and warp her for a double weaving project. it is going to be a backpack to hold my laptop ... was not looking foward to the wild goose chase of finding THE double weaving video that wasn't confusing. One literally had two shades of red as the examples. like, please. so i'm looking so so so forward to your series. instant subscriber just for this and i haven't even watched it.
This is EXACTLY why I made these videos. I went through this too. I spent hours looking at confusing diagrams and videos, and just couldn't figure it out. I actually got so frustrated my first try that I gave up and cut it off the loom! Once it finally "clicked" for me, I wanted to help it click for others. So, I hope it's helping some people. Please let me know how it goes! And message me if you have questions! (You can also join my Ravelry group www.ravelry.com/groups/magpie-and-molly) Welcome and thanks for the kind message!

I hope there's a tip or two in here that you haven't learned already. I tried and tried to learn from books and it just wouldn't sink in! 😁

I'm the same - books just weren't getting through to me. Good luck, please let me know how it goes! 😊

Love this! Thanks for posting.. I started weaving a couple months ago on. 15 inch rigid heddle loom
You can do a lot with small looms - this one is 16" and once you get the hang of double weave the possibilities are endless. 😊
I love these videos! Thanks so much.
Glad you like them!
