bro its literally pop punk rock, and its fire, mby i would recommend using ample bass guitar vst for the base since you dont have a real base guitar, or the "boobass" (if im not mistaking) free plugin in fl studio. But for the guitar and the way you've made this song its crazy good 🔥
You somehow came into my feed and I've been doing the same thing for years, whilst also having struggles to get my own music out there. I've been mainly making DnB since I got into making music since years after. I've also dabbled in making other types of genres/styles even non-electronic stuff, having explored a lot of different styles can help you in making what you want on demand. Then I somehow begin to bring all of those elements back to DnB (because I'm obsessively and having a bad habit adding DnB drums to everything lol). Also I'm one of the people you're talking about that has done it and know a lot of people in the scene that has done the same with real instruments. I hope we can talk soon because I love the genre and I'm still trying to pursue music as a career myself!
Watched all the way through, man. Really see what you're talking about now and agree you should pursue this style. I don't know if you'll feel the spark again with EDM, but I think it may work in the future if you work on getting this style down and incorporating EDM elements into it. I feel like I've heard music like this where it has breakdowns or drops that feel super organic with instrumentation or just kinda flip to rock for a bit. Maybe some songs by Jaron if you're familiar? Anyway, my personal ear is thinking of these like emotional stacks of saw chords or just walls of thick sound in between stuff like what you made here. Really surprise the listener. Of course if you just decided to go purely with this vibe with some vocals to tie it all together, it'd still sound really great, especially with the DnB drums! You deserve way more engagement for the content you make. I'll always pop in, consider me a fan no matter what direction you go in!
@@cody42693 Thanks for watching the whole thing, I really do appreciate it. I will 100% make sure anything I release is better than what I did in this video 🤣. I definitely think there is potential here with the combination of the japanese rock chord progressions and DNB drums, I just need to practice for a while and keep working on it! 💪
