Sold my RS5 for a M3 Competition xDrive and haven't looked back. Much better performance and engagement from the M3 (and more importantly, fun!). The RS5 is a great car, but other than it being more practical because of the hatch, the M3 wins all day long in my eyes (looks are subjective so my opinion doesn't matter).
For me it was RS5 vs M4 comp and so glad I went with the M4. The driving dynamics are just next level and it looks so aggressive. Love that I can toggle between AWD and RWD on the M XDrive. Just brilliant cars.
Not specing the CF trim on the M3 is a crime Haahaa. The new steering wheel with the carbon paddles looks so much better and those larger paddles are so much more functional. Must have option IMO.
I have the M3 but I wouldn't mind the RS (any one of the RS line) too. They are such a well rounded proposition. Take RS3 for example. It's a 180mile an hour car with a 3.4sec 0-60 time but will also give you 35mpg if you want. No drawbacks. It's practical with four doors a big enough boot space so you're not missing out on practicalities of daily life and it's good year round with all wheel drive. RS6 is a big V8 wagon that gives you as much boot space as an SUV but will hit 190 miles an hour all day every day if you want. Love the M3 but the RS I would say is such a nice balance of luxury, performance, practicality etc. As far as no drawbacks type proposition I think the RS line wins. To me the obvious answer is have both if you can swing it.
Yeah the priced over the last 4 years have gone crazy! Hopefully things change now. But the M3 is a very capable car. Can still buy the base in the $70k range tho
Appreciate the detailed breakdown! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
Audi definitely wins on the looks and practicality as a sportback. It's pretty amazing Audi still limits the HP from the factory. It can easily push a lot more even with a stage 1 tune.
@@a124as 🤣 whatever man. Previous gen M3 looked great. These new BMW designs are fugly as hell. Doesn't take away from performance but BMW has gone in the wrong direction
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Audi has to differentiate itself by offering a hatchback 4door. BMW already offers the M3, M4 they even have m440i GC. Audi can't produce the same exact type of vehicle bc it's an inferior car so they produce the RS5 to try and chip away at some market share of potential M3/M4 buyers who maybe like the look or want something different
I’m just speculating but I think Audi doesn’t produce an RS4 bc all the research and development cost wouldn’t be profitable since the m3 is already king in the segment and they aren’t confident they would sell enough.
@ it's in the owners manual under window controls, although it's impossible to understand since it just says "mirror heating is available when the car is in a drive ready state" lol
Both are great options, but the M3 is next level in performance!!
They’re both great cars for sure!

@@MichaelWoloszynowicz yeah I was going to mention the switching between RWD and AWD. That is next level!
Don’t Forget, the Rs5 COMPETITION improved a LOT compared to the normal RS5
@ not enough to get close to the M3. The M3 also has the CS.
Yes!! Finally RS5 content. My next car🔥🖤
It’s a cool car!
@@supermagicblackhole Are you even considering the M3? Test drive both if possible!!
The better looking Audi ❤❤❤❤
Honestly both look good!
Love that you compared the M3 with the Rs5. Please drop the RS5 review 😊
It's up!
I don’t care if the bmw is way faster, the rs5 1000000% prettier
Glad you'd enjoy that!
Saw others get 3.4 to 60 in the Audi…BMW 3.1. Audi for comfort and rear trunk space. BMW for engine and track.
Thanks for sharing!
Great review on both cars, I love that the M3 has killer, aggressive looks.
It's a sweet looking car!
Cool video awesome comparison
Glad you liked it!
RS5 base is almost 10 years old and you can see it.
I think 2026 we'll see the new one
M3 is the best car. I must say, the Audi looks better though. Would still buy the M3
Both are really great options for sure!
Agree
Not specing the CF trim on the M3 is a crime Haahaa. The new steering wheel with the carbon paddles looks so much better and those larger paddles are so much more functional. Must have option IMO.
Yeah I'd get that package for sure on an M car!
rs5 get heated massgaed and ventilated seats. hate how rs seats mainly black if u want all optipns
Did you adjust the RS5’s coilovers to track settings? It makes a huge difference.
I put it in the dynamic setting. Didn’t see any other settings for track.
G80/82 by far best bang for buck performance especially when you start modding!
Oh yeah!
M3 all day

@@Screaming-Trees Great perspective. I think the RS line is far more compelling as daily, street driven performance car. For the track? M
Yeah!
Both are great options! My brother has an RS3, they love it!
Both can be a daily driver!
Can't believe they discontinued the coupe
That's interesting to see, maybe people wanted more practical backseats.
Was the exterior on RS5 you showcased is "Sebring Black crystal effect" ?
It was! The full review went up on the same day with all the details!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I saw the review other day. Informative review. Thanks!

The m3 used to be 60k now they are pushing 100k . Its not longer a value and worth it . 100k is a higher tier car categorie.

Super Midsize Sedan Battle

since I got an M3 Comp I naturally think it's the better car!

Rs5 all day !! Every pimple faced early twenty year old wants and drives the bmw.
Interesting description..

Nothing can compete with the s58 and its tunabilty. Its interior is also alot more modernized then the audi.
Yeah the M3 has a lot of potential!
BMW that's the most obvious choice here. 👌🤟✌️👊🔥💪👍
M3 best
M3 is amazing!

Looks are subjective to the viewer. I see the M3 as better looking.
They limit the HP so you have to pay a premium for Porches to get it from the factory.
Audi’s look like a bar of soap
@@a124as 🤣 whatever man. Previous gen M3 looked great. These new BMW designs are fugly as hell. Doesn't take away from performance but BMW has gone in the wrong direction
Good point. End of the day just buying VW trash
M3 is the better car. If the Audi was better they would sell an RS4
How would an RS4 make the RS5 better? We have the RS6 in the US.

M3 easy

The M3 may perform a bit better but the Audi is far better looking. Far.

Ok “far” is a bit of a stretch

Far better. FAR FAR.
put it in rs mode
I did..
be diff get a audi
🇮🇳
Thanks for checking out the video!
These things cost too much not to have automatic steering-wheels and ventilated seats standard.. Love the M3 but the RS5 just speaks to me.
These are more about performance. Not full on luxury vehicles. But I could see those as options
BMW has heated mirrors as standard.
Where do you control that from? Never seen it.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed they are automatically heated based on ambient temperature and rain sensor (to dissipate wet or foggy mirrors as well).
