Do you think using dynamic active reduces image quality?
what happens if I use 4k with dynamic active then I export to HD, is it better?

    Very interesting video. Thx man.
    One question about the ZV-E1.
Does che Dynamic Active Stab work with the Clear Zoom Technology in 4k or works only with regular active stab?
Some people say it work , other that doesn't work , other that is works only until 30fps and not at 60fps.Oufff.
Sold my Zv-E10 , and try to understand if is better to buy the ZV-E1 or the A7CII that comes out 2-3 days ago.
The A6700 i have eliminated from the list because i'm interested 90% in shooting videos with the Sony 11mm F1.8 APC-S lens.
    Thx you

Lot to unpack but I can confirm a few things.
Dynamic Steady enabled does DISABLE clear image zoom.
You DO need to be in Active mode only to take advantage of the clear image zoom advantage.
Only in 4K120 do you not have limitations with NO CIZ or any Active stabilization engaged.
The 11mm lens is an APSC lens actually. But works fine for most purposes with just the 10% crop of active steady shot. You can use Dynamic or punch in more through CIZ on Active if you see Vignetting with lot of movement.
I use it on the ZV-E1 as it allows you to take full advantage of the stabilization and wide angle ability of a full frame. I do have a video comparing the 11mm to the 14GM coming very soon.
Compared to the A7Cii, it really comes down to if you want to take more photos. Both can do both actually. The ZV-E1 just has more advantages in video although the photos are awesome even at 12mp. The A7Cii has great video modes but is slightly limited but takes even better photos with an actual shutter, better ibis, a view finder, and 33mp for cropping. Actually using the A7C in crop mode still gives your 14mp so larger than even the ZV-E1. No bad choices more preference to what you enjoy that will make one better.

@@TechGearz_Levi Thx you very much for the answer.
Just to tell that i have already subscribe to your channel because it appears that you are an expert in the field.
I just watch already 6 videos and i have understand some things that first i i had doubts on them.
My main use will be video wide as possible. 90/95% video and 5% fotos.
With the ZV-E10 and 1,5crop the 11mm has 16,5 and without any stab. Then later with catalyst other 10% crop so it was something like 18mm.
At all this until 30fps. There wasnt any 4k 60fps or more on the ZV-E10.
I know that the ZV-E1 has the sensor from the FX3 and A7SIII and it's the best out there for videos especially in low light situation.
But is this worth i mean is this valid also using this sensor this APSC lens ( and not full frame ) because of the crop factor that you have to do and the "only" 12mp sensor??
From your video , this one i understand that it worth.
Specially with the 11mm in full frame you can have a 14,3mm with Dynamic stab or a 12,1mm with active ( and some clear image zoom to eliminate the vignetting effect ) right isn't it? Only the idea that you can have a 14/15,mm already stab video it's blows my mind.
No catalyst browse, no extra crop and also no loose of time ( for the catalyst browse render ).
The only "downside" that you have always speaking for 4k is that the video is not too sharp like the fx30 that is a downscale from a 6k but it dosent mater because i think you can correct this in the edit. also i like it nto too sharp to tell you the true. It seems to my eyes more realist and less digitalized.
Now the only question that i have is.
Maybe with the A7CII that is a full frame with the sensor from the A7IV ( 33mp ) and this trick with the active stab and clear zoom ( so no APC mode )
the 11mm perform even better for a 4k video at least at 30fps because from what i have saw 2 days ago at the presentation for 60fps you have 1,5crop and no 120fps.
I don't know. I think i will take the ZV-E1 at the end. So many benefits for the use that i will do.
Ps. waiting for you video with the 11mm and the 14GM.
      Thx you again
      George

@@tzitzos77 Hey George, is been 7 months since you wrote here. Which one did you choose? ZV-E1, FX30 or A7CII?

@@trivacker Hi trivacker. I got the ZV-E1. It's a beast of a camera. Only downside if you capture videos above 15min with 50fps and over it's overheat. In this case i use the ulanzi fan and it help a little bit but if you plan to capture big videos with more than 30min continually look for something else. If not choose the ZV-E1 from the others two. It's a A7S3 in a pocket body with some more feature like dynamic stab etc etc

Every not sold reviewer says than A7mIV has more detailed 4k than 4k/4k60 from ZVE1due to 7k overtsampling, while ZVE1 limited in original 4000 pixels. All next video centric SONY FF cameras shoud have at least 18 MP

    • @sneakergearz
      @sneakergearz Місяць тому +1

The 7iv no longer samples from 7k in 4k60. It goes into Super35 mode for 4k60 and reduces quality. The 7k oversampled is only in 24/30p.

Interesting video. And the Fx30 it seems really too much sharp

      @TechGearz_Levi  Рік тому

I almost agree. I like it but can totally see where it’s too sharp depending what you shoot. It’s also why many users still prefer the 12mp sensor as it is very natural looking with almost that filmic look.
