Does it loses quality with the clear image zoom ?
There’s a new video posted on the quality of clear image zoom in 1080 and 4k on the channel. Check it out.
Tip to add value for your audience: Put in Ch. on your videos, to reference and support what you talking about
Tilta total fail
Also where did you get the magnets?
Who makes the patch?
Did you do the zipper mods yourself?
the wider the angle will always be more stable less noticeable maybe ibis if it lengthens the focal length could technically make a more jittery video by then counteract that with the technology.
I think you did a really good job explaining your thoughts on which lens you liked better and for what purpose. I would like to add some constructive criticism. When you're say "this lens", you might want to let the viewer know what that lens is often. You might have switched hands or lenses which makes it hard for the viewer to follow which lens you're talking about. Otherwise, good job and I agree with a lot of your thoughts.
Dude those magnet mods and velcro strip are genius. My apologies, but I will be taking and using your ideas. Great review man 🫵
More close up incase also any other zip and inside of the tote
Great little lens attached to an a7iv almost full time for walk around. Good w/ all foc.lengths at all focal distances (including very close-up portraits. what distortion? nonsense !) I enjoy this lens as much as my m-mount 40mm f/2 (my most used on rf L's) which I adapted to use as a 60 almost full time on an a6 body for more than 3 or 4 yrs .( solved the a6 series battery problem, manual lenses don't suck up any power !)
The tests I’ve done there was zero difference cropping in post vs clear image zoom. It’s just marketing for normal digital zoom. On ZV-E1 anyway.
Great video!
Which one would you prefer for architectural shots, and if they are going to be printed?Sony 16 35 zeiss sigma 16 28 2.8 tamron 17 28
Great video! Still relevant
It's primary value is the pancake form allowing it to fit in your pocket. Beyond that it's not impressive and lacks useful f/stop and range. It's not even remotely close to the IQ of the Tamron 28-75 G2 but I did pick up a used $200 28-60 for those times I'm willing to trade off IQ for pocketability. Got it for my a7cII.
I know detailed comparisons between the 2 Tamrons 28-75 G2 & the crazy 28-200 f/2.8-5.6 performed by a few reviewers When compared in the 28 to 75 range the G2 is only very slightly better in certain spots, so the FE 28-60 should not be that much worse than the G2. The 70-180 f/2.8 shows more better diff.
@@user-pg5rt7ju4f I've had the T 28-75 G1 and currently own the 28-75 G2, 28-200 and 28-60 plus the 70-180 G2 so my assessment if based on experience. The 28-200 is actually quite good and what I take when flying on vacation with one lens. Have been thinking of doing a test between it and the 28-75 & 70-180 combo. The 28-60 falls behind in every way- f/stop, range and the awkward zoom ring.
Thanks for the video, loving my zvE1! When using HD you mentioned you can zoom to 200%. Is there any setting to enable that, or just use the rocker? So I’m taking it if shooting HD you can dynamic-active stabilize and still have a lot of room to zoom (as an easy example….10mm becomes 13mm with fun-act; leaving 13-20 remaining zoom)? Will be playing with this later today, but appreciate any insight you have on HD zoom optimization.
nice test man, got the e1, can't wait to test it.
Every not sold reviewer says than A7mIV has more detailed 4k than 4k/4k60 from ZVE1due to 7k overtsampling, while ZVE1 limited in original 4000 pixels. All next video centric SONY FF cameras shoud have at least 18 MP
The 7iv no longer samples from 7k in 4k60. It goes into Super35 mode for 4k60 and reduces quality. The 7k oversampled is only in 24/30p.
THANKS
Great video, Is it possible to use the ZVE1 on 4k with APS-C S35 mode ?
I think it a great value, if you purchase it used. I purchased it in anticipation of purchasing the 7C II when it was released. I purchased the A74 instead. I still use it on the A74 when I want a small and lite walk around set up.
Thank you for the review. I got very good results with the kit lens. Compact and handy for street photography where I do not need low apertures.
Good lens ! At 28, f/4 < f/2 only 2 stops can easily be handled by current good auto iso . Recall the restriction w/ film, that's why u see fewer use of flash these days?
I use the Tamron 11-20mm, 16-70mm and the 70-350mm that I was using on my A6600 aps-c I did not liked that body style so I sold it... so I use the aps-c lenses as a light setup on my A7rv...works great 26 mgp in the aps-c mode
how about using it on Sony A7R4 in APS-C mode ?
What about it? The mark 4 has the exact same sensor as the mark 5, thus the same 26 MP aps-c crop when you use the 70-350mm lens. If you want to have 20MP remaining, you can crop that even a bit further. But with the Tamron you have 61MP at 400mm, that you can thus crop in even more into that result and still get 20mp output
How often do you use the bag? most dyneemas look really busted after a while.
Sony doesn’t own Tamron. But they have 14% shares in them.
I am a beginner sports shooter, high school soccer. I own the 70-350, bought to use on an apsc camera. I recently bought a full frame A9 camera for the 20 frames a second. The 100-400GM was designed for the A9 and is the best lens. I want pro quality, but on an amateur budget.
In terms of design, I much prefer the Tilta, but big no because it doesn't have a micro HDMI lock like the Smallrig Edit: Mine arrived today. Mine (in Indonesia) has a 1/4 hole in the middle, according to the photo on the website. I didn't know that Tilta made several versions.
I am surprised! The bokeh is beautiful for 2.8
That Goruck laptop compartment is the best absolutely the BEST anti pick pocket compartment i kept my cash and passport in there you HAVE to take off the backpack to get in there! Just keep it on! My favorite backpack.
Great vid thanks! Subbed.
Since I've buy the Sony Zve1 I think it have the most beauty full hd I've ever seen on a Sony camera. It's a bless use the hd instead of 4k for me
Finally a person that talk about this argument. And do a little bit of math too understand that if you want a ultra wide angle lens stabilized the only way to have it is to move to apsc lens! Because thanks to Sony 😒 now if you want buy a 16-35 for example, you have to consider the extra crop 😤 10% here...30% there...I don't understand why nobody say nothing about it. Canon still produce stabilized lens and if you wanna extra stab you can have it without crop! Panasonic is a gimbal! Nikon I don't know...but that thing is pisses me off. If I spend money to have an ultra wide angle lens is obvious that I want to use it at that exactly focal length! No. If you want the stabilized footage add 10%..and if you want more stabilized footage add 30%. It's ridiculous...
Hey, I didn't see the 4K ... I don't see a reason to test these at 1080p?
4K is in part 2. I’ll have that posted this week.
You've completely flipped my perspective! I own the Sony 11mm 1.8 but have been hesitant to use it because I'm so accustomed to the quality of Sigma Art lenses. I wasn't sure if the image quality would drop noticeably, so I've been eyeing the Sony 14mm GM 1.8 and the 16-35mm 2.8 GM. But after watching this video, I'm totally torn. Thanks for the mind-bender! 😂
Why not for wildlife?
Thank you so much, my friend! Whole internet cant give me answer. But you did it! :)
Oohh thanks for showing the step22
Great review! very informative and touched on most points I am looking for; one quick thought regarding ZV-E1 overheating, do you think the white color camera body would help?
Use it for street photography, I think it is fine. People after larger aperture is a culture foundated from film photography 20 years ago. With the much better sensors nowadays, I think it's good enough for general use.
Could u do a comparison with this bag and evergoods ctb35 please?🙏🏽
Please fix your af settings. Half the viddo was out of focus and all over the place. Thnx.
No link in description for the Mystery Ranch pouch?
hows the alpaka held up for you? been eyeing it, in the axoflux material
Canvas is almost made out of cotton, right?
So technically yes. But it has to do with the weight and thickness which is a big difference. Duck canvas is over a 300gsm count for cotton so very durable. The Baron is an 18oz which is essentially what the what of denim. Making it again, incredibly durable and a step above even the GoRuck. So yes, they are cotton but the thickness and how they are made makes a big difference.
@@sneakergearz Do you know which specific type of canvas this pack has? I love the look of the fabric. Indeed, I just bought one of the packs and am waiting to receive it. The stitching coming off the Molle webbing is indeed concerning. All Goruck told me when I wrote to them is that the waxed cotton/canvas is comparable in durability to their heritage line but not to 1000D Cordura. (No surprise there!) If you have any info on which specific type of Halley Stevensons canvas was used to construct this pack, I'd love to get it. Either way, thanks for the video--as far as I can tell, it's the only one out there!!!
@@sneakergearz Thanks for responding--I didn't see until now! I got my pack and it's gorgeous. The only concern I (still) have is the durability of the canvas/cotton. I've found out it's a Halley Stevensons P200 Hybrid Aero. It's nice material but only 6oz when unwaxed (and 8oz when waxed). But Trakke uses the P400 Hybrid Aero, which is twice as thick/heavy. Indeed, basically all backpacks have canvas thicker than this one. Finally, just like you experienced, so one shared with me that their MOLLE--on the front--also started to tear off. Still thinking I'll keep the bag, but I wish they used thicker canvas, though that would've compromised the look, feel, and carry. Plus, the interior lining is nice and thick, which at least should help prevent holes coming from that side. Thanks!!!
I might get this lens, good talk!
Could u do a video comparing ctb35 to peak design travel 45l please?🤞🏽🤞🏽
This dude has a huge arsenal of camera gear. 👍 great content! I bought a 15mm 1.4 to use with my ZV-E1, but I need to go dynamic active to avoid the vignetting. For this 11mm 1.8, it seems active is quite enough? That sounds really promising for some interior shots. Can you please confirm this?
Hi Levi, do you think you could attach a GR1 field pouch in the same spot like the PD-PDW? Would it fit nicely?
