    Perfect because you can use the yolks from the eggs whites from your macarons.

    I made this buttercream it is simple and delicious, my favourite, I would like to make this in bulk, can freeze the extra buttercream.

    I just whip my eggs and sugar in a bowl and add the milk and put the whole bowl over a double boiler until thick so I am just using one bowl for everything.

    I wanna do a hazelnut custard, so I thought maybe I could use your recipe and just add the grounded hazelnuts when putting the mixture to heat but I’m not a baker!! 😅😅 please help 😅

    I cooked my egg mixture for at least 10 minutes, but it never got that thick... I still went ahead and mixed the butter in, however the cream came out very soft and runny. Having it sit in the fridge did firm it up, but not enough for macaron filling. Is there a way to remedy this?

    Can I add cornstarch to the mixture of egg yolks and sugar?

      Adding cornstartch will make it thick and doughy depending on how much you use, its sort of like a substitute for flour in some way, i wouldnt reccomend it if youre using it as an icing

    If you add peanut butter to the French buttercream, would you substitute peanut butter for the regular butter, or add it in addition to the butter?

      I’ve never tested this recipe with cream. But cream and milk has vastly different fat content, so the reault won’t be the same.

    You said you need vanilla extract but I don’t see you use it? Sorry I’m a bit confused. Did you forget to record yourself putting it in the mixture for the butter cream or did you not use it at all? 😅
