The brand name on the engine doesn't matter. It doesn't matter if it's a bike engine or a lawnmower engine. An air pump is an air pump. You can port it and mill the head and achieve the same power as a street bike. The supercharger makes it even better. This is an awesome project.
Richard Holden tried this same charger on a 350 Chevy a it robbed from what his baseline was with out the charger. It takes more power to turn it than what it will produce so it’s killing this cart’s power bad
Man I was a senior level IT guy and left the field after 15 years to become a mechanic. I've been a powersports mechanic for a little over a year now, and while I've gained a good bit of knowledge (Yamaha certified on watercraft, still waiting on my BRP courses...), I learn a ton of shit from your vids. I appreciate you putting in the effort to record and produce them. You teach me a good bit about engines and performance upgrades. Thanks man. Edit: I've been working on a buggy design and was looking for engine ideas, came across this vid series. It's serendipity lol
oh, also, idea - Exntend the steering wheel toward driver and install quick detach so you can get the wheel in tighter but still get in the buggy. Love what you guys are doing. Thing looks like it could go very quick through that trail.
I am amazed at the power they got out of that cheap chinese motor. I want to build something road legal with that. I estimate I can do it with about 3 grand in parts, and tubing.
First thing first. Respect man, you are one hell of a driver for real. You made that technical trail in the trees look effortless and obviously it's a lot more technical than you made it look by using the throttle to slide the ass of that thing and counter steering through it. I didn't see anyone else notice that and say anything but I caught what you was doing and understand the skill I was seeing here. Mad respect to a real driver with real skill.
I’ve enjoyed watching the build of this thing… I’ve been out of work for the past couple of weeks due to a severe broken leg with having surgery for plates and screws in my leg I’ve only started watching a day or so and am gonna watch other builds as well keep doing what you do and god bless you and your family

You have put in so much hard play (work) to make this channel a success. You guys always do such cool projects. I’m super envious of what you get to do on a regular basis. Keep up the good work. You have the best cart/mini bike/ buggy channel on UA-cam, and there are a lot of good ones but not as good as RBG
that thing looks pretty smooth on the trails from the camera. Always impressed with how much power you can get out of that motor... I want one on a golf cart.
"Blaster?" Yep! Good products, price is right, the stuff works! Your sponsorship reminds me; next loop through the hardware, I need a few more cans of the stuff. Thanks for your honest style and evaluations. Jerry.
Performance670 has an adjustable billet flywheel that lets you mess around with ignition timing, which is something you'd want to do when running a boosted engine. There's probably a few extra horsepower to be had with one of those.
Blaster is great, I get it at my local Tractor Supply. I never leave without at least one can. Great content, I enjoy your channel, God bless, and stay safe.
Got sent your way via a buddy because my other channels I've run out of content and caught up on so now to see how yours is as so far I like it. Subbed.
Wow, that's a very nice build. I've just started following you so this is only the second video of yours that I've watched. The most important feature that I see is you've got your 4 or 5 point harnesses, to keep the driver in the seat. That long travel suspension increases the vehicles off-road capabilities and makes for a smooth ride, very nice job. Impressive engineering, stay safe.
This build series is like crack! I just binge watched every single episode. 😵 You've combined two of my favorite things here, welding/fabrication and off road buggies. Sweet!!
Just think about this; a long time into the future, someone will probably find this beast if a machine sitting in someone's shed or barn, sit in awe of its craft, and wonder what mad man built that.
That is absolutely awsome! Wow! I've been nuts about go karts mt whole life i i'll tell you what.....that machine rite there would ruin me. I wouldnt wanna do anything else but rip that thing everywhere. Awsome build brother!
@@RedBeardsGarage I'm enjoying it so far! I need to get with you on doing some work for me. I've got what used to be a "Murray Kilowatt" That I'm wanting dual upper and lower control arms front and rear.
It's absolutely ripping up the trail. I'm about finished with building my ultra light airplane. Thinking of this engine upgraded with the AMR supercharger. Only thing I'll probably put a Aviation carb on instead. Since I can adjust the mixture on the fly so to speak. You do that for altitude by watching cylinder head temperature.
If people are wanting you to put a motorcycle engine on that thing, they just don't know LOL. That thing is amazing plus you're showing what a person can do by using Harbor Freight or other type of budget engines. I think this whole build idea was awesome and you did a great job showing. Sometime if you get a motorcycle engine, build a different kind of buggy and put that on there. I think this buggy is perfect the way it is., maybe throw some paint on it LOL. Its funny that you mentioned it at the end because I decided to say something half way through the video. My ltz400 had a set of mudlites like those just a lot wider on it when I got it and I noticed those tires are grippier than you would think in super loose dirt, but have no traction in grass and foliage. I swear by "cleat" style tread because they have grip EVERYWHERE but unfortunately I don't think they sell them in utility atv/utv sizes like your running.
A small Machinist cross vise and a cutting tool then run the motor. All you really need is to take a couple thou off he said it's just barely making contact. Hell if you want to get super janky you can do it with sandpaper and a stick 🤣
Taken a smidge off the edge of the clutch is what first came to my mind when he said that also. If it's only a few mil touching then that's shouldn't hurt the clutch.
this looks like a great build. and along with new tires. put some ductape on that helmet visor lol. i noticed it came open on ya a couple times lol. i hate it when that happens. and also. when you taking it to windrock? i love that place
