Thanks!
I have been genuinely looking forward to this one🤘
Ha, thanks. How is your CNC journey coming along? Hit me up if you need any inspiration or pointers. I know you'll do just fine but it's a lonely road. Hit me up whenever.
Antigua finish would be cool 😁🔥
Antigua but with Surf instead of gold!
Aluminium fretboard, candy apple green metallic body! 👌
Pure class!
If you go with an aluminum fretboard you could polish it to a mirror shine and go with a candy apple red for the body. Give it that 50’s vintage care look. Pretty cool video
I cannot wait to see this project finished.
OOOOO i just watched the first episode again and i cant wait to see this one
Great job! I can't afford a real Duesenberg either, but I was able to afford to buy your blueprints!;) And now I have my own Fairytale clone - and it's beautiful!
are ya going to laser on the fingerboard layout that would be cool
The Duesenberg Lap Steel guitar string length is the same as a strat, being 25.5 in, where as most lap steel's are made with a shorter 22.5 string length. I would be inclined to use this design with the shorter string length of 22.5in. The best of both worlds realy.
Salut Marc, a quand la suite?
Patrick de Belgique.
I vote for either a sweet metalflake (I love purple and black metalflake myself,) or a metallic gold like goldtop Les Pauls.
Think I'm going a gold top.
Awesome! Can’t wait to see it!
What thickness of wood do you start out with
i had an idea a while ago for a build, of just doing a white base coat. then having my friends kids just draw on it, then clear coat over the top. That idea probably doesn't fit a lap steel. but it's still be neat to see.
enjoyed your video. I recently, three years ago moved from Houston to Canyon Lake. I finally bought my dream CNC, an Avid Pro 5'x6'. Been wanting to build guitars. Are there other CNC guitar builders in the area?
I wish. It would be nice to hang out with other CNC builders. I know Rocca guitars is out in Houston and Sully guitars somewhere out there near Dallas.
I know the admin for the AVID CNC facebook group lives in San Marcos. There are also other AVID CNC owners in the area, but none are building guitars as far as I know. A meet up would be cool.
Candy Apple Red with Chrome hardware.
What about a funky vinyl wrap on the body and a corian fret board maybe arctic white? Did see a clear acrylic fretboard with a portrait wrap on it that was cool
Adding coriander and clear acrylic to the list.
@@MarkGutierrezcoriander would be a first lol
a lot of people are averse to coriander, use parsley @@MarkGutierrez
Cool, but why do you copy another company's design instead of making something original?
I can't afford a real Deusenberg, so might as well build one!
people copy strats and teles (and everything else imaginable) all the time. As long as you don't put "Fender" on it, it's cool.
