Nice. However, it would be even nicer if you made it more detailed for complete novices and showed how to cut using a normal mitre. Not everyone has fancy tools…

Thanks for this video. I am literally just making a pelmet from wood I got from Builders when I searched for a video and came across this. Just one thing, my main reason for making a pelmet is because the one I bought is not wide enough to cover the top of the curtain. I will suggest one attaches the brackets higher than what you have done to achieve this.
