Feliz aniversário nos céus .. Brian Francis Connolly..jamais o esquecerei.. obrigada por tudo que fez aqui na Terra pelos seus seguidores.. parabéns nos céus...💕💕💕💕🇧🇷
This was a pretty special post Brian and Steve track. Andy and Mick nailed this one and it should have been released as a single with a proper video I think.
Yes, Shot Down In Flames should have released as s single. Power Rock and still the music is pure Sweet. One of the best track on their career 1985-88. I´m sure Andy will compose songs like this before he finally pull electric from guitars.
great vocals from iron maidens original vocalist paul Mario day.andy and micks band 50 yrs of sweet this year glad andy and steve are still rocking.when the classic line up split they should have replaced brian with an out and out singer.it worked for bigger bands sabbath purple Fleetwood mac and many more could have worked for them we will never know.
nice one the original iron maiden screamer paul mario day on vocals a great rocking sweet with andy and mick no shots of this band only the classic line up.? still great .one night at the marquee. with this line up became three nights guess people wanted to see sweet .you cant beat the classic line up but this is great.
Did you see that tribute-album to Sweet that Narnia/Divinefire/Audiovision-singer Christian Liljegren released a few years back? ONLY the hard rockin' tracks were allowed - well, someone got permission to do "The Sixteens" - and some Swedish band (they were all Swedish) did a tremendous version of this song! One of Sweets all time greatest! And Phil Lanzon is a keyboard genius!
Yeh I've got the cd I think you're referring to.... The Sweet According To Sweden - great cd if you're into Sweet's rockier tunes, I agree The Six Teens is great, as are all the others, I thoroughly recommend it!
Sot Down In Flames is a great Sweet song. Paul Mario is a god singer too, well Nobody can replace Brian, but quite frankly Brian´s voice couldn´t get that high and he wasn´t a real hard rock singer. He was a singer for soft rocks and ballads and more pop oriented songs. It was obvious, Andy wanted Sweet to be a real Rock band, not bubblegum or pop band and this track shows, he succeeded what he wanted Sweet to be. Nothing more than heavy rock band + melodic rock. Well done Sweet!
This sounds absolutely nothing like the sweet I know that there's different members and Brian's no longer with us unfortunately neither is Mick so means a new drummer, and a different singer the only ones that are left now is obviously Andy and Scott or I'm sorry Andy and Steve, and they got two separate versions of the sweet it's not the same it's not even close to being the same sound the same that sounds like a totally different band I do not like this track at all yeah the sweet this is not the sweet this is definitely not I'm not don't like it don't like the new stuff at all

The Sweet without Brian?
Nice all the same.

Brian is not there......

Alway's liked this track too. Thanks for you're comments
I agree. I think it would have been a great single too. Thanks for you're comments
This sounds like Swedish rock. Sweet was so unique band. This stuff is so stereotypical...

Brian had a great voice when he was healthy for hard rock also. Listed to their albums.
Three men down. See you.
Westcoast style.

if you mean this song Mick Tucker is on drums. this song is 1986. Mick was with Sweet until 1991.
Stop whining
Micks in this song nuff nuff, and you dont think the harmonies sound sweet like???
