Thank you so much for sharing this video. Maybe there's others who have shared this info but you're the only one I know, that have done so. Very educational and look forward to others. Thanks again.
I used to dig up ‘Devil’s toenail’ fossils in our back garden when I was a little kid, making a hole for a new garden pond. I never knew which species they actually were, they were embedded in Oadby clay.
hi, Emma, i'm Rob from Dutch Paleoclub Amathysta, ( my channel name is derived from the DC comics tv show Arrow ) love your videos, and the fact you love fossils :) last year i organised a trip to the Hannover quarries for the club which are famous for sea urchins, an insane amount of sponges ( the biggest can get up to a metre across!) and HUGE ammonites, On only my third visit last year i took home a halve a metre ammo, and i heard last year some one found one that was 1 metre 40 across!! We with the club will return this summer, is it ok if i sent you email with a proposal to join our club on a fossil trip? Eventually we would love to come over to England :) can you let me know if a mail is ok? Good luck hunting :) !!

Wow, not sure how I missed this. Great video, Emma!! I'm not sure I would take a sledge to that ammonite for fear of destroying it.
Hi Emma and Kevin! Great vid.
Excellent video , I really enjoyed it, that’s one great place to find fossils , looking forwards to the next vid , peace ✌️
This was very useful. As I usually look for beach fossils. I will able to explore the sedimentary layers now.
