Edmund's part of your starting team whenever you start a new game without transferring save data from previous scenarios... or if you killed Stella in scenario 2. It's either Edmund or Produn, you can't have both normally. Turk can be found in Dormant village (2nd visit). You need to talk to him with the piece of meat in your inventory.
ProDaKah ! Okay, but I forget who is Edmund in the plot?
You know Edmund - he was introduced in the first scene in scenario 1 during the peace conference, then in chapter 3 he betrayed the Republic by siding with Garzel, then Garzel backstabbed him by knocking him over the cliff... then he's MIA until scenario 3.

Apologies for limiting this montage to Julian's force. I decided midway through compiling footage that A) including the same orichalcum specials for all 3 forces would have been both redundant, and exceedingly lengthy, and B) recording and editing this almost killed my computer, so figured best not to press it. Thanks for understanding!

As a Saturn fan, it has always been frustrating to hear the same lines tossed out endlessly, despite all evidence to the contrary. "Can't Doo Three Dee" became an albatross around Sega's neck and hardly anybody was interested in even looking to see if that was true or not. Well, in a perfect world, Shining Force 3 would shut the critics up once and for all.

Julian seems to have the most unique team (there’s no equivalent for Honesty, Primula, Spiriel, Unoma, etc)
Unique's one word for it - as someone who's never been able to play Scenario 3, dipping into it with UA-cam videos is an out-there experience to say the least. Cartoon penguins notwithstanding, Synbios and Medion's parties are relatively grounded - elves, centaurs, sexy kunoichi, all the usual fantasy staples. Then you load a random playthough of Julian's mission and suddenly there's dragons? And unicorns? And owls? And magical girls? Eh? What? What's going on? The weirdness only makes me regret more on the wild ride we all missed out on over 20 years ago...

This scenario 3 is the game I played the most in my life ( way more than 1000 hours). I love it, I finished it More than 40 times and 90% with the Japanese version only ( the English patch makes me come back even more nowadays)

i agree that showing every character from the other teams would be redundant since most of them would use the same specials, but there are some classes that julian lacks on his team like birdmen, those classes could be interesting to be shown(not to mention that we could hear how eldar sounds in japanese),
Good point; I wish I'd considered that. Eldar has a very interesting voice in Japanese. Well I'd like to get around to lets playing all 3 scenarios on insane this or next year, so I'll get to show them off then. Hopefully!

dunno why but, to me, the wings specials looks much better when done by the birdmen, Honesty didn't look bad but the birdmen looked better when using those specials.
Yeah; you can tell they were designed with them in mind, and seemed tacked on for Honesty.
it's quite impressive that they managed to make them look good with her centaur body, i mean it's quite silly but it was well animated.

Yeah, it's actually really amazing how well-animated these models are in general, given the game's release date.
the transition from 2d to 3d was pretty impressive in this game, i remember a similar game with similar genre that tried to do that but the animations was a little bit "lifeless".
quite a shame that they stopped making this kind of force games, it was one of the few fantasy tactical rpg games with a lot of nice looking playable races, not to mention that they were really enjoyable games.
I agree, but I've been learning that a lot of people didn't find this game's 2D/3D style very appealing at all. Some people also just prefer the 2D style of SF and SF2, but I think Camelot were on to something good here, had they been given a chance to continue building on what they started here.

I've played this game since it was released aaaaand... I just realized I never used Unoma in battle.
Never.
Objective of my next playthrough : Keep all stats boosting items for Unoma, and make him the ultimate bulzome slayer.
I like that idea. If you're so willing, please consider uploading a video of him in action during one of the final battles. (This probably went without saying, but you might as well go all the way and wait til level 30 to promote him)
