Thank you so much- yes I am new to clay at 73 years young! Never too late is it! I am certainly going to make Christmas decorations of all sorts ..thank you for your advices and hints made simple ! Cheers from Australia ! 🇦🇺
Simple are the best 😊❤️ My Dad is also 73 and I’ve had him sitting at the dining table recently enjoying the clay, wonderful for all. I appreciate you being here and watching thank you, wishing you lots of fun creating 🇬🇧🇦🇺
Oh Sarah, so happy to catch you on here this Friday morning. I love your little bear . I’ve used wooden beads to make dangles for the tree but not clay. Yours are exquisite as is everything thing you attempt 😅.. I give homemade gifts a many of years; glammed up wine bottles, painted portraits of Santa, floral pieces, wreaths, altered Christmas baubles, winter scenes on China platters, bowls, or silver containers, nativities, hey, that’s the short list😂😂😂. Remember, I’m 73, with many celebrations gone by. I love when someone gives handmade gifts. I know it’s done with love and thought. I’m working on Christmas trees( cones with different items like fancy yarns, circles of fancy papers etc) right now. Hugs and have a fabulous weekend.😊❤
Hi Margaret, always a pleasure to hear from you and all your creations sound fabulous. So pleased you are getting set for Christmas already too ❤️😊 happy weekend
I’m a first time viewer and love your video and your creations. I especially appreciate your simple but effective tips ie. leaf indent tool, creating bead holes with a pencil and paintbrush end, smoothing edges with water before they dry, painting beads while on a pencil, etc. I would love to see some embellishments for the corners of frames, shaped beads like bunnies or mushrooms or ? I would be especially concerned about cracks or bead integrity with the hole for stringing. One more thought: Your bear ornament has me thinking it would be fun to make sets of book/story character ornaments. Or landmark ornaments for a location - small town or popular destinations. What a great way to personalize gifts for family and friends!
Welcome, I love that this video has got you thinking and that you have some ideas of what to create…go for it, have fun creating, thanks for watching 😊
My sister and I made clay ornaments when we were kids every Christmas and now we do for our store. It’s a cherished memory and I love seeing others such as yourself create such wonderful works of art. Great job. 🤍✨🪽
What a wonderful talent you have! Thank you for this video. Your little bear was lovely! I made air dry clay ornaments 4 years ago for Christmas. I stampped snowflake, heart and cross designs into the clay using wood cutouts from dollar tree, (like pound saver in the UK). They were well recieved.
I loved your beautiful beads, They reminded me of one's I have made from DAS in the past and inspired me as well. I have a package of DAS sitting on top of my craft cubicles. I see beads and wreaths in my near future. I live in NW NSW, Australia, and we have the opposite drying problem. Sometimes, at this time of the year, with hot temperatures and low humidity, the clay can dry to fast so I always have damp cloth ready to lay over my waiting clay to keep it nicely moistened. Thank you for this entertaining video.
These are beautiful. I love the simplicity of them. I make Christmas ornaments every year for family and friends. I’ve done it for about 30 years. I’ve made many from polymer clay, wood cut outs, wood slices, quilted, recycled light bulbs one year. I started with about 8-10 the first few years and some years have made close to 50. It’s really cool to visit a family member or friend and see so many ornaments that I’ve made on their trees. Thanks for sharing your ideas with us💕
Amazing, I can just imagine the beauty on the trees of your friends and family from all your creations, such a wonderful way to share joy and love, glad you enjoyed the video, thanks for watching, have a great weekend 😊❤️
Sarah, these are great! I’ve been looking for ideas for gifts this year as I always give friends and family a handmade ornament each year. I love those wreaths and gingerbread characters. You are so inspirational, Sarah. Thank you so much for sharing your creative talents and ideas with us. You’ve brightened my day so much! 🤗
Thanks again Carmen, glad you’re saving for November, not TOO Christmassy this one so thought I would get it into the system now…more to come later hopefully ☺️❤️
I’m totally in love!!! What a beautiful video! Great tips and I absolutely love your gentle voice too! Thank you so much!!! I’m going to try to make some Christmas ornaments myself. Really looking forward to it. Huge thumbs up ❤
Will be trying all of those. The past two years I have made clay gift tags/ornaments thanks to your tutorials, and people love them and hang them up on their tree. I will try the bead ones first.

These are awesome, RRB! I learn something new every time that I watch one of your video's. Your talking all the way thro with so very many tips and inspirational idea's is wonderful; so better, and more relaxing than those that I watch from other creators who play music all thro their video's, and yours are far more helpful too. I am more of a portrait/landscape painter, but I love to try out your craft projects. I have discovered, today, from this video, that one doesn't necessarily need to invest in dozens of clay molds, your method is so much nicer, and gives the product a more personal touch. Thank You for being your so talented you! :)
Wonderful to hear, thanks so much Lauren, thank you for being here and always watching and commenting, it is much appreciated. The simple and do it ourselves ways are my favourite, have a fab weekend ❤️
Great ideas! Always love watching you make with air dry clay. I have embossing folders, and love to press my clay into it, sometimes I actually sandwich the clay in between so I have a recessed area on the back. I then usually do the painting with watercolor and seal with a spray varnish. You use them to make impressions on ornaments, but I usually do a trinket dish....what do you think?😊
I loved your design both the bowl and the decoration. I’m sorry there were problems at the end but interested to know how you corrected them. Thank you for sharing that particular bit of it. Very relaxing to watch you as always. Xxx
