- Turns out there's a takeaway shop out there that offers a food challenge by delivery! Tons of doner kebab meat, cheese, garlic mayo and pizza sauce, baked inside a huge pizza pie, accompanied by more chips than anyone should ever eat and 1.5 litres of a beverage of your choice...they call it The Hangover Pie...for some reason...

Q: How come you don’t get fat?
A: I eat like this for 1 hour of a 168 hour long week. In simple terms, I eat at caloric maintenance over the course of time, meaning I don’t gain weight.
Q: Don’t you worry about your health?
A: Not in particular. I’m active. I eat nutrient dense foods five days a week. And, I get quarterly bloods done, amongst other health checks.

haha doing my best mate....hard to keep things fresh but least i can do is keep putting stuff up..keeps me sane too having fun with the filming. Won't lie I'll be happy when restaurants are open again and i can do a big flipping tour haha

I had a choice between reducing my carb intake or going on diabetic medication. My brother shooting up insulin after each meal was strong motivator for me. This is two years old, so I think I must have started on my diet about the time you did. But my A1C went from 6.9 to 6.2. Then it dropped to 6.0. And I lost about 20 pounds. During Covid, I gained some weight and my A1C went up to 6.5. Then I adjusted my diet again, lost the weight I gained, and got it down to 5.9. But I can still eat a decent amount of carbs. I just need to control how much I eat in one sitting and wait four hours between meals to allow my blood sugar time to drop to fasting glucose levels before eating again. That routine was something I came up with myself after monitoring my blood sugar levels. And it works extremely well. No medications for me, and I only need to check my blood sugar levels a few times a week. Instead of a few times a day like most diabetics. That I can live with.

I would have agreed with you until I was given the choice between reducing my carb intake and shooting up with insulin. That changed my opinion on the subject real fast. I'm thinking, maybe I don't like ice cream all that much. LOL.

I hear what you're saying about kebab on a pizza, BUT i went to Sweden last year and had kebabpizza with chips and its the best thing i've ever had.

How do you deal with lack of energy on your calorie deficit? I’m 6ft doing 1500cal a day and a 11 mile bike ride every other day. After doing this for a month the lack of energy is getting to me xD

This is 100% the type of pizza I would eat. Cheese is my least favorite part of pizza so the fact that this doesn't have any but still keeps it creamy, is right up my alley. I wish they had it here.
This is the sort of pizza I'd love to devour just where I live there's no Uber eats or deliveroo and barely any just eat places that are actually affordable so takeaways here sucks.
i feel you mate, not many take outs around here spare this one and a couple of naff indian places

Recipe for donair / garlic fingers sauce
1 can of condensed milk
1/4 vinegar
1/2 sugar
Pinch of garlic powder
Combine milk and sugar than stir in vinegar.

I wish I lived in the North, us southern softies don't have eating challenges like this, just good sunshine by the coast
It's been blazing sunshine all last month and this week too in the north, my wisteria looks epic this year, no heavy showers or wind to knock the flowers off. Today is cold though, the temperature was 20°c yesterday, today it's 10 and windy, hopefully the weather improves next week.

as a student i used to eat a kebab pizza at least once a week as i had a kebabshop right across the street. it tasted delicious and they even mixed regular cheese with "greek style feta" on top of it. never found this again in the city i live now.
