  • I took advantage of some holidays and rode a short 200km section of the 'Attack of the buns' route from Bungendore, NSW to Nowra, NSW. This took me mainly through Morton national park.

2 days is really impressive! I’m planning to do this over 4 days around Christmas. Great video!

Thanks @Onefurlongtoolong, this was a shortened route of the AOTB. I bypassed the last section from Sassafras and sped down the road to Nowra where i was being picked up. This was largely due to limited time. I'd suggest you take it easy and four days would be amazing (Hopefully the route will be open after the fires in this region which are still burning as of 06/12/19)

    Great little video.
Instead of panniers, do you think a single-wheel trailer behind a bicycle would be ok that track? Thanks

Absolutely! I'd go without panniers next time. Instead taking by Bob-ibex or most likely bikepacking bags (Frame,Saddle and handlebar bags)
Good luck and thanks for the comment! 👍

why a road bike when it's 90% dirt tracks

It's a steel frame touring bike. It's fairly versatile and can handle dirt tracks without an issue. A mountain bike would be great but on the road sections in and out very slow.
