@@LegendaryCustoms Something that beautiful should be enjoyed and seen. I'm sure photos will be taken every corner. '71 is my favorite C3 . Take that with the unique bodywork and that breathtaking paint job ( artistry), I am slightly envious !!
Without a doubt, this is gorgeous car. If there is such a thing as a perfect paint job, we see it in this video. But I have one question… Now what? 17 years was spent working on something so beautiful that it’s going to be very difficult to actually go drive and enjoy the car. Corvettes are for driving and enjoying. I guess some people think of certain cars as works of art. This car is certainly all that and more but will Charlie actually enjoy doing what the car was manufactured to do? Will he find a way to justify taking this beautiful creation out on the public roads and subject all this work to what happens in normal day-to-day driving?
@@LouisA.Lazarus Thank you for your comment. Please tune into our UA-cam Channel and see the FULL BODY PAINT PROTECTION that we installed on this LEGENDARY car. He plans on driving the wheels off of it & he has the paint protection to help do that. Check out the full video.
Beautiful car I like to know more about the paint. Also the tire size I’m currently working on a 1973 Corvette with the front nose in the 1972. I have a 2 inch rear. I am planning on putting my LS three instead of the 383 stroker motor, love the color. I love to try to match it.
@@darryldawkins2230 The best thing to do is have Legendary Customs LLC paint your car when it's ready. It's a QUAD coat paint job. Tri Coats are difficult to pull off keeping the colors even, a quad coat really takes a ton of experience & talent. There are two episodes on this build, which covers the bodywork & the paint process. In the end, we wrapped the car in a paint protection film. Email our team at legendarycustomsus@gmail.com
What an amazing car!!! Beautiful turn key job. My only critique is that the C3 sits too high. I lowered mine. After having a 930 S for many years I don't think you can go too low
Most of the time, if you have a pre 75 muscle car, you can talk your way out of a speeding ticket. I had a sheriff stop me and threaten to give me a ticket unless I traded my 1970 Corvette for his police cruiser,,, HaHaHa,, Not kidding,, we had a good laugh.
Wow,,, Just WoW!!!!! That's phucking gorgeous. I like the 68-69 fins better than the 71's. Looks so much better.. I have a pristine, 1970, L46 that someone tried to paint to Steel Cities Grey. Originally Monza Red. How much to paint mine back to original???? 😄 I know that's an impossible question to answer. But, ball park? You guys do amazing work.
I can not believe the price of a paint job. As far as that custom.work on the body to each his own. These C3 Corvettes bring little mo ney and are poor investments, unless it for your enjoyment.
Every project is different. The owner has hundreds if not a thousand hours into the body modifications he did. The finishing bodywork we did in house. If you have a car you would like transformed send us an email. We will talk. Legendarycustomsus@gmail.com
very nice job on that c3 corvette if you could find someone to paint that c3 corvette. where I live it would cost about 5500 to 6000 dollars. with the amount of work you two have put into that C3 corvette. nice craftsmanship
I'm sorry to disagree with your math. We have more into the materials than what you've stated to paint the car. We do appreciate you watching our UA-cam Channel.
Beautiful paint job, but who made the decision to put those huge wheels on that car? Are you planning to be driving around in the hood, or what? Those wheels are WAY too big for that car. Nice paint job though.
It's a big paint project but fiberglass will always be easier then metal working custom restorations, plus at the end of video all I saw was a poorly primered frame under the nice paint work or maybe was just dirty? The tires are just on the cusp of ridiculous but even that stuff goes in cycles. Having any EXTREMELY exaggerated feature is purely for attention at the car shows as this guy won't be driving it on the road much. Overall nicely done for $140k. 🙄
That's the owner's car ! Not yours, its his vision, his hard work and his money. It's a work of art. And its easy to sit back and criticize. Have a little more class. Nice work ! To all involved.
@@stevemeeks8455 I have no idea what you're going on about. The owner and I get along great. He's seen the videos. He just brought the car back for full PPF. That's in a video also from a couple weeks ago.
While that’s a little blunt.. I have to say I agree. Why pair those Carbon fiber exhaust covers and splitter with those rims? I’m hoping when the car was finally finished maybe those got swapped out.
I couldn't leave my garage if I owned that. I couldn't stop staring at it. In a class by itself. PEACE from Philadelphia

Are the rear fenders replacements with the flair or a flair you mounted and blended into the body
They are from a company. The car owner did all the modifications. We straightened things out and painted.

adding flares doesn't make it a wide body dude, a greenwood or Ecklers kits are wide body..not this fake claim

The oversized clown shoe rims and rubber band tires completely RUIN this car.
