Corvetteboyz Approved. This is the best C3 driving video that I've seen on UA-cam. She's winding those gears out and driving this car like it should be driven. Guys step your game up and take notes from her.

I am from Germany and This Car is my favorite Car since i was young....i am 57 now and know more about Cars....but the Shape - the Curves of This Car are Still Aewsome....And with THIS Engine...Wonderful....A Stickshift and a lovely Lady who know how to use it...Fantastic !

A few years ago my brother and I went to an auction, he was looking for a C2. A '71 454/auto/convertible came across the blocks. Bidding was brisk and he threw up his hand, the bidding stopped. He had looked the car over but not a "I'm buying it" look. To change one of the plugs he had to remove one of the gills to get access. There's a lot of engine stuffed in the engine bay. Sold it to a guy from the United Kingdom, I can't imagine it not being an eye catcher there.

I've never been around 454s but it sounds like a diesel and a gas motor had a baby or even th 6.0 v10 in the Viper.

My Dad had a 71 454 4speed and air conditioning. . He had it back in the mid to late 70s. It was white and he had it repainted in black and added the side pipes. It was an awesome car. The interior color was the same as this one.

those base engines from chevy big blk are rare you never see them the 427 had 345hp and the 454 365 hp

And fixing that one little thing will make a noticeable difference in how it performs. It’s amazing how much power a fan sucks.

What a shame that the camera has such good vid quality but the microphone clips to hell every time it gets loud. And it's NOT the wind, because the over modulated clipping is only when she's flooring it, not when she's cruising. WTF is up with that? lol It's like an early 2000s digital camera mic or one of those cheap body cam mics

Wow first gear seems really tall, like you could just cruise around town all day without upshifting!
My 1971 454 had 3:08 rear gear. 65 mph in first gear!
Lots of big block cars had a tall rear gear ratio. Plenty of torque to pull any gear pretty well without spinning the engine up
Sounds great, except for the stock fan, which sounds horrendous. :)
Clutch is locked up sounds like.
They make plastic bladed fans that can use the clutch nowadays.

Pretty lady, modestly dressed, hair looks like she just got out of the shower, was taught properly- left foot only on the pedal when needed, understands the downshift blip, etc- She is truly a RARE specimen these days…. I tried to see if there was a ring, but could not confirm…. If not, she is a unicorn. Well done Dad/Uncle/Grandfather/Brother….
Cam seems kind of snotty for the 365 hp version. Those didn’t require much cam.
Sounds like a solid lifter aftermarket. LS5 were pretty tame

My 327 has more than 365 h.p.
HP does not tell the full story and this here is an example. Your short stroke SB generates nowhere near the torque this thing does, nor does it produce the wide RPM range torque and seat of the pant pull

My 65 vette has the L76 327.
It would have this 454 for a snack

The 454 is nowhere near the caliber of engine the immortal 327 is. I would choose it every day of the week and twice on Sunday over the 454.
