I didn't know professor is such as a revolutionary and has really pushed in the roles she has been privileged to hold. She is indeed a star and very intelligent for that matter.

Zambia's first professor? not Zambia's first female professor....A classic example of why academics/specialists should stay away from politics....when such people join, they lose the plot...Also reminds me of one Ben Carson.......

I have always believed this woman has been underutilized just listening to her you can tell she has a wealth of knowledge which can be passed on to the next generation. But in Zambia the only way you can make money is in politics

How come this detail on meal allowances was never explained to us like this? It was a case of poor publicity and communication.

Professor, the best should have been for PF to leave structures in place , and then there would have been no shortages of power. But to suggest that you provide guidance because you have experience does not hold much water. Edgar is a humble person??.? Seriously ??? Ok, he is a humble person who hates Hakainde in all ways without doubt.

Hmm.. she doesn’t know what to remember Mwanawasa for, really?? The president who got our debt cancelled, the fight against corruption, the kwacha appreciation

Indeed politics is a "dirt game," I never knew that she has contributed this massive to our great nation and continent. I honestly never liked her politics during ECL because she sounded dull, especially on campaigns (sorry for using the word "dull"), unfortunately most of her arguments used to be less objective.

  • @ganizanitembo1492

I never liked her tribal politics. Yes, you can hate a tribe of people and like a few from the tribe you hate. That counts as tribalism. It is the same as saying I am (black) not racist because I have taught some white kids or kept them. In conclusion, her campaigns during 2021 elections where marred with tribal remarks.

PROFESSOR, you have been biased against HH and Mwanawase in your analysis. HH received the worst from Edgar. But you have not touched on that. You concentrate on the perceived wrong being done to Lungu. You are biased.

The interview is totally shameful and for Nkandu Luo to give such an analysis shows how politicians can trivialize very important issues. My feeling was she should have given a short historical perspective of meal allowance and what law brought meal allowance into being for the two Universities and why students have been supported since time immemorial. She was so emotional trying to support herself that she was lost in a maze. She should have brought in the reason why PF felt it imperative to discontinue meal allowance. Instead we hear I did this and I am being congratulated. A mistake like this was a group mistake not an individual one. If it was not a mistake it should be celebrated by all not her alone.
She really is a total disgrace to say with food you can request a neighbour. Can you study when you are hungry? Even Ambassador Mwamba should not have brought her. Of course she is known for her behaviour of being boisterous and not listening to what those who voted her into power are saying. She could only listen to herself. The tragedy in Africa is having leaders like her that are so full of themselves. She has even had the cheek to drift and talk about her intellectual ability which she earned yes but let those that have benefited from it praise her not herself. If she is not being used it is that people know that she will work alone.
Meal allowance is not being used as a propaganda and it is not as petty as she has brought it out to be. I end by appreciating her qualification as a woman and my advise to her is to be open so she can be used in Zambia. Pride sometimes eliminates and causes people to be extinct. She needs to walk the talk.

Now I know that Professor Nkandu is a tribalist. How can she say good things about Kaunda, and Chiluba and fail to say something about Mwanawasa? Honestly? This is what you call being objective in your analysis? Professor, I enjoyed the first part of your story. But the last part of your narration has been so baised.
