- I got fed up of listening to the radio and the CD's, I finally wanted to be able to listen to my own music through spotify and bluetooth.
I installed a Pioneer 230DAB into my 2007 Audi A4 B7. The pioneer radio completely replaces the old Audi Sat-nav head unit, and you can find all the parts from the links below:

Hi Brad great video! Regarding the rounded off nuts and bolts on your corrado there's a few tools you can use to try and remove them even if rounded off. A nut and bolt remover set helps to get a good grip on the bolt head and hopefully will get it undone. Have to be careful tho as it might just shear it off. A small pair of stilsons or pipe wrench should get ahold of the rounded nut as well. Sometimes applying some heat to it might help loosen things up. Soaking bolts in WD40 for a period of time could also work. A long breaker bar even on the smaller bolts can make a difference as well. The more leverage you have the more force you're applying to undo the bolt. I've surprised myself so many times with how much difference a long breaker bar makes. Hope that helps and good luck 👍

The CD slot when you bring the screen down is for the Sat-Nav CD. If there isn’t a disc inside, your sat nav won’t work. It has all the maps for Western Europe pre loaded.
I’ve got the same system and want to change it as well.
Get a roll of TESA tape for tidying up the wiring, it makes the installation look OEM.

It is not just a Audi thing, its a CANBUS thing with all vag cars
Need to do this for my S4 Avant, it’s dated and also the volume control has a mind of its own which is very annoying. I replaced my last Audi A4’s stereo with a Pioneer SPH-120 which was a great bit of kit.

Use Nighteye H7 LED. I use them on my b8 A4 and zero issues.
also you need to wire a resistor to those LED's to make sure you dont get that error
be wary with those LED's make sure they go in projector headlights and not reflectors to avoid blinding other road users and failing MOT
Not many actually understand this. If your headlights become yellow hazed it’s better to clean the lens rather then blind everyone by buying LED bulbs.
If and when you sell this, please give me a shout! Done a great job so far. I drive a Berlingo.. first car and its a mini camper too. But looking at A4 Avant for my next car so this would be ideal! All the best

its funny when you say the stock unit being in a Lambo, cause when i turn mine off and on (I have a A4 B6 with that installed) it actually displays the Lamborghini logo on it instead of the Audi one XD
I ended up installing a Apple car unit into my Passat b7 makes a big difference

Before u get an ur next mot on the Audi swap out the leds for standard bulbs sometimes they can be funny about leds/xenons being added to cars they weren’t standard on some UK regulation or something. I learnt the hard way 😂😂 also you need to invest in an angle grinder/dremel just cut those damn bolts heads right off and tap them through, easiest way I’ve found. Then obviously just replace them, saves you from a lot headaches

I have a problem. I connected pioneer dmh-a340dab radio to the subwoofer and the rear speakers on the back door don't work for me. a friend told me it might be that it was up to the connector I bought to connect the new radio . can you help me how to make that back speakers work again. thanks
The cd behind the screen is where your sat nav disc goes. The sd car slots are for pre loaded sd cards with music files, but I’ve never managed to get mine to play. (My guess is the music format I had was incorrect)
It works if you use the older sd cards. You need to use ones that DO NOT say 'HC' (high capacity) on them. I bought a 2GB one off ebay and it shows and plays mp3s no problem!
Any led upgrades for Audi Vw etc causes codes to pop up , its frustrating coz the stock lights/bulbs are pretty dull & dim although Osram are quality bulbs , i upgraded my front fog bulbs to led & they look crisp but it throws a code on my dash but there aint no issue with the actual leds , even when i turn corners the cornering lights as normal no flickering . so its a phantom ecu issue , lol i just delete the code with the obd eleven when it flashes up .
You can pick up canbus resistors on eBay. I’ve got the same setup and the resistors solved the issue

OEM led, etc has self leveling so you don't blind other road users.
Wheel spacers are a death trap when they sheer off your wheel studs and you lose your wheel and crash. Just saying.

I have a similar pioneer unit in my b7. The steering controls work great but I can't pause or mute from the wheel when it's on Bluetooth. Volume and next track wheels work but clicking them down does nothing. Any advice?

@@BWTV if it works as intended then it has a point :D You can insert music CD there and listen to it, kinda handy when you swapped your CD changer with the BT/AUX module to listen to spotify and connect your phone.

LED bulbs are iffy on all cars tbh, none of them seem to be able to recognise a lower draw of power and assume the bulb is out. Weirdly LED sidelights and DRLs are fine on my car though - maybe it's because the halogen equivalents are much lower wattages than an H7, so there's less disparity

Hi mate. Do you know if a4 b7 cabriolet front seats will fit a b7 saloon OK... Wondering about air bag connections and other plugs mainly, I'm guessing the bolt fixings will be the same. Seen vids of b8 seats going in b7s but can't find any info on cabriolet seats. Thanks
Forget about it - the Cabriolet seats of course have a fold-over-system, so that you can enter the back seats easily.
As usual, the important bit is speeded up to music.

Nope but if you're getting this radio you'll want the USB for car play/ android auto
