Thank you for the video. It truly helped me. Please note (and maybe this makes for the result to be slightly thicker fog), if you're goal is a 25% solution of Glycerin, the ratio used in the video is wrong. The total volume of the solution made in this example is 30 fl oz. Therefore, the solution created in this video was a 20% mixture. A 25% mixture of glycerin in this example would have required 6 oz glycerin to 18 oz water (24 total oz) or 8 oz of glycerin to 24 oz water (32 total oz). To solve for the amount of water to use to reach your desired dilution: (volume glycerin / desired solution strength) - volume glycerin. Example: (6oz / .25) - 6oz = 24 - 6 = 18. OR to make it really simple, if you want a 25% solution, that is simply 3 parts to 1 part mixture, so 6 oz glycerin * 3 = 18 oz water (resulting in a total volume of 24 oz). Simply: Amount of Glycerin * 3 to know the amount of water to add if you want a 25% mixture.
Thanks for confirming that I'm not crazy. I've seen several sites follow this guy's recipe and say it is 25% and I keep thinking that makes no sense. Twenty-five percent would equal a 1/4 part composed of glycerine.

Something's wrong. If you add 6 oz of glycerin and 24 oz of water, your solution will be 20% glycerin, not 25%. In order for your solution to be 25% glycerin, you need to add only three (not four) parts of water per part of glycerin.
squid90 25% of total solution would be either 8 oz to 24 oz water (32 oz total) or for the 30 oz total he’s mixing, it would be 7.5 oz glycerin to 22.5 oz water.

I am trying to do the math here: 1 gallon of store bought fogger juice is around $19.00. Your Glycerin is $4.00 for 6 oz, which you mix with distilled water to get 30 oz. So if I skip the distilled water cost, the home made version is $4.00 for 30 oz. 1 gallon is 128 oz., divided by 30 oz., that means I get 4.266 batches for $4.00 per batch to be equivalent to store bought. So 4.266 x $4.00 is $17.06. Slightly cheaper, but not much, than store bought at $19.00. I was looking at the video to save money, but not sure you are much / worth it. I do think it is a great video, I am just making sure I am not missing something on the math.

Am I missing something here? A gallon is 128 oz, you would need 27oz (4.5 bottles of glycerin) to make a full gallon of 20% fog juice.
