I'm a retired old guy that's a newbie to detailing....can I use a clay mitt on a wrap hood ? Thanks for any info

@@DH-lu2bm We don't recommend claying vinyl whether it's glossy or matte. Claying is an abrasive process and will cause fine scratches that can be difficult to remove, and on a matte finish will cause shiny spots or blotches to appear.

I just bought a car and didn’t know it was wrapped... I actually thought the matte black was paint. This video helped so thank you ! I will order some of this because what they gave me at the auto place today was something that said vrp polish. Does the car being out in the cold damage the wrap?

if you have a matte finish, don't polish it, if you have a glossy finish, no harm done. Spray waxes that don't alter the finish, are ok.
