If you had to cook a fridge-fry-up right now - what leftovers are in your fridge?
Well I'm Jamaican so right now I can find some ackee and salt fish, some lovely guango peas and rice, there's some fried chicken in there as well so that should be a good combo especially if I add a few slices of avocado that I have as well 😁

Looks like Carrot, onion, celery (there's your mirepoix), avocado, cheese, eggs, egg whites. (It's Thanksgiving, so no leftovers in the fridge, mate)

I genuinely agree, this doesn't feel so much like a "Family Channel" because it's not about their own lives, it's just cheeky skits about Dad Life in general. I get the same energy from these videos as the silly videos I used to film with my own dad on his camcorder. 😊

I'm Asian. Any leftovers is always combined and fried with rice to make Fried Rice
This was a staple when I needed a quick meal before an evening out at Scouts etc.

my dad was the bubble and squeak pro in my house, cabbage and potatoes were a must, and usually fresh sausages. NZ sausages are quite different from the US versions. they're much lower in fat, include breadcrumbs, and mild in flavour, not hot or spicy. so the saussies themselves pick up the flavour of everything else. they are awesome, the end

I honestly hope that this family in NZ never feels constrained to make an authentic American Thanksgiving meal. They have their own culture, don't need to import your American culture.

I actually have one of these fridges (in the matte black! thanks, early pandemic era tax rebate!) and they're really lovely- the shelves are genuinely easier to clean and really do catch spills/leaks/etc.

In our house we call it a "fridge clean out" and they always make the best dinners! I don't currently have any leftovers but there's a ton of fruit so I'll make fruit salad. (PS - I have fridge envy!)

I’ve got a quick feed that takes like a minute 1-2 slices of cheese 2 pieces of bread 20-30 seconds in the microwave and boom cheesebread

My uncle's fridge has this anti-spill frame around the shelves, and when things spill, the liquid just rolls/squeezes itself under the frames. So I cleaned his fridge and the glass doesn't come out of the frames: I had the shelf in the kitchen sink, at an angle under the running warm water, and had to use a toothbrush to get the liquid (can't say what it was) out of there: you could see it through the glass but no easy way to get at it.
But that is a very attractive fridge. Congrats for getting the Westinghouse sponsorship!
