Or you can just measure the width of the room and divide by the width of your vinyl plank. That way you’re not putting down and taking up planks.
did you do the area under the stove ? I am worried about the glass surface being above the granite countertop.

Can you install luxury vinyl tile over existing tile?
Had friends come over and show me how “easy it is.” Watched this video and about ten other videos. I’ve been working on trying to install the same plank for two days; no joke, as it won’t snap into place….Word to the wise; just because your friends can do it, don’t think u can. We are brainwashed to think “anyone can do it.” When u hit a wall like me, and u keep pushing, the plank’s edges will crack or break if u hit it too hard. U have to be cautious and careful with the angle. BE REAL WITH WHO U ARE AND QUIT WHILE UR AHEAD. If ur someone that doesn’t own a tool belt, don’t take this on, it’s not as easy they claim it to be…this video is great, but only for people who “got it.” I don’t “got it.” I’m going to take my planks, cover my entire lawn with every plank, fill my sprinkler system with gasoline, turn the sprinkler’s on and light a match.
Great video... Perfect for DIY'er. How did u finish it under kitchen cabinet/ unit... Do we glue or fix something to end... Just that it doesn't slip out?
They are considered a floating floor, you don't glue them down or go under cabinet. They expand so that's why you want area between the wall and the tile
Since it's a floating floor, can you install under dishwasher, range, and refrigerator?

I only have a half bathroom to do about 4'x5'.

No glue on the floor?
Nope no glue on the floor.
The tiles are locking with each other. This is floating floor.
Yes you can glue them if you want but is difficult for a DIY project and is not nesecary if you are installing at home.
Usually glue is used on high trafic commercial floor.
When installing luxury vinyl flooring in a bathroom do you recommend a certain brand?
@@artenisdhjaku8171 Hi art, I am going to go with vinyl flooring for my kitchen. there are two types. One is more and no "cork" backing. the other cheaper but I like the color better. What do you recommend. I want the cheaper one because of the color but I want to pay more for a better backing. What do you suggest? Does the "cork" backing make a better floor? thx.
This isn’t luxury vinyl tile. It’s plank. Tile is actually shaped like tile and interlocks differently.
I really hate this stuff! give me tile any day. I've been working on this for days and this shit is a pain in the ass to get to click together!
