The no music thing makes sense. I've always wondered why gyms have music given that about 95% of people training have headphones in.
Precisely, we’re paying to use the equipment, not to listen to their loud gym music. No music is a no brainier imo

9219 AED for a years membership converts to £2000 annually which is £166 per month. People are paying this and some for David Llyods gym in the UK. This gym is a bargain for the sheer quality you recieve.

That works out to about $200/month for the US. For getting an amazing gym, pool, cold plunge, sauna, and other amenities, that’s actually a really good value.
Facts. $200 is a deal for what you get. I was expecting around $350-$400
And the best part is that there are no women!!!!!

In my gym, we have the same lockers! You set the 4-digit code while it’s open, scramble the code to lock it, and then use your set code to open it again. Super simple!
That said, since you’re in Dubai, you could probably leave it unlocked, and nothing would happen-Dubai is so safe!
So it's like those safes in hotel rooms

This isn't a Gym ... it's a social club. Worth every penny. I go to PureGym in the UK to literally go inside, train and leave. I'm in an out within the hour. A gym like this I could spend 2-3 hours easy.
Correct. I go to the one in kuwait. You could spend all day there: pool, food, tvs, etc.

Mikes right with women in the gym. You look (but don’t leer) and it helps with the session. Pumps you up sometimes, at least for me.

All these mega gyms follow in the footsteps of the original mega gym innovator, the 4 story, 500,000 square foot, 2 city blocks Chicago mega gym The East Bank Club started in 1980. 3 indoor outdoor Olympic size swimming pools, 4 restaurants, gourmet grocery store, pro shop, spa, big steam and sauna in locker rooms, 5 weight rooms and cardio, napping rooms, squash, racquetball courts, indoor outdoor tennis courts, boat docking, underground and valet parking, indoor and outdoor quarter mile jogging tracks, indoor driving range, concierge and catering facilities for large and small venues. 1980 this place opened and their was nothing even close back then and it was way ahead of anyone else even today.

Wait till that good old Dubai summertime hits. That place is gonna be packed! Oh and the price isnt that bad, considering it's 24hours. You could go 2-4 times a week just to hangout, swim, sauna, workout obviously. But yeah, not too bad overall (the no music thing would bug me though).

I like how the monthly fee is the same rate as if you paid yearly, unlike many gyms who jack up monthly fees to force you to sign up for a yearly membership

Wow - love new state of the art gyms. Those facilities are world class and over the top. It definitely comes with premium pricing which will weed out many of the people who, quite frankly, shouldn’t be using that type of equipment as they really can’t afford it.

Thanks for the tour. How does a gym like this makes sense for an owner, purely as an economic proposition - the build and set up cost must be massive?! Mad. The gym seems to be in "soft opening" phase so I'm sure it will have music and more atmosphere soon enough. Not convinced about the "flow" in such a large gym - if you are alternating, say, push, pull, legs then there is a long walk between machines - it could get annoying if people keep taking over the piece of equipment using are using for, say, legs, whilst you are on the other side of the gym doing, say, a push?! I'll stick to my garage gym set up - it may not have as many machines (and also no women!) but I love it!!

I wish my gym had no music. I don't care about whether there's women or not, because I'm there doing my own thing.
The only reason I accept there's a couple of others in the gym is for emergencies, otherwise I'd be happy to work out completely on my own.
If you are genuinely doing your own thing then it does not matter if women are there training.

For the American viewers, I pay about $250 USD for my lifetime fitness membership, about the same for equinox. But no where near this level of luxury. This is a bargain id sign up for in a heartbeat
