I've been to Istanbul for the history / culture. But I can't believe what other stunning places there are to see in Turkey. I need to book another holiday to Turkey it seems !
Did a G adventures tour...best... Fethiye, Pumakkale, Selcuk, Olympos...Cappadocia...lots of lovely places...make time and see them you won't regret it...

You can go there and visit the ancient city of Troy and see the facades from World War I and the monuments in the war zone (Gallipoli).

Everybody probably noticed this, but I saw the water was colored Turquoise like the name Turkey, and sailing over to Greece (my girlfriend Antigone said they hated each other) the water turns Blue against the white Greek structures. Turkish cuisine is one of the finest and Mike, you seem to eat a lot. Lucky You!
If you want to experience it in Turkey, I recommend it. Fethiye - Kas - Antalya You can have a nice paraglide in Fethiye or have a good time in the bays with clear seas. You can have fun in the beautiful entertainment venues in Kas. You can experience nature, culture and entertainment in Antalya. After rafting in Koprulu Canyon, you can go shopping in Side and then see the cultural structures in Aspendos and Antalya center. These will be only 0.05 percent. There are so many places to explore.
Great video, last time I was in Bodrum was like 1992. Back then it was so crowded that you couldn't even move and would worry about getting crushed in the main streets and clubs... also that wasn't quite a traditional Turkish breakfast, in a more authentic Turkish breakfast they bring about 30 separate foods/ingredients to your table in small plates and bowls, there are some travellers videos showing it.

Actually that traditional breakfast is not the everyday routine for us. That is mostly for long special breakfasts, like brunches. We also have difficulties finding healthy options at brunches. You are always welcomed here. 😊

Bodrum is one of the most expensive place for holiday in Turkey. next time you can try Göcek but Göcek also expensive but for me its better
