Could not agree more on the pacing. The way the game builds up to the stronger enemy encounters and boss fights is unparalleled even in modern games. Its so cool how each level give you a different challenge or enemy to overcome, its a hallmark of thoughtful game design.

NOX exactly! I have never seen a game still have influence on so many fans tune into any RE4 content. No other games have that today or any old game that had a impact like RE4 did! If it does get a remaster then this game would be the only game to ever get released on all platforms including the new Xbox series and ps5.. no other game has done that yet
RE4 was a masterpiece, it totally revolutionized third person shooters with it's "over the shoulder" aiming system. Almost every third person shooter that has come out since has used the aiming system that RE4 invented. Gears of War, Uncharted, Red Dead Redemption, Horizon Zero Dawn, etc all owe a great debt to Resident Evil 4
Resident Evil 4 was amazing i remember my first fun experience with it back on the Gamecube. Mikami-sans masterpiece was well refined and the tension was great through out the game. Enjoyed it countless times on other platforms the PS2, PS3, PS4 and Switch.
Without Resident Evil 4, we wouldn't have got games like Dead Space and The Evil Within. Shoutout to the team members that got tired of making the same gameplay style of the earlier RE games, without them we probably wouldn't have gotten Mikami's and Kobayashi's new vision and new direction for the original RE4 game. RE4 is the best!
I still remember when i played it the first time it was a totally different experience for me it took me around 20 days to finish the game it was so intense and the story the environment it was scary at that time everyone was talking about this game ,for me the most disturbing part was playing through the island level i was too scared of the regenerator i just used to try to avoid him. Amazing game ♥️ i still jave the HD version
the island may have been short but it was my favorite part of that game I'm not saying the rest of the game wasn't good the whole game was awesome and scary but the island was the scariest part of the game in my opinion the atmosphere was the most unsettling

This is the best game i ever played in my childhood even till now. Because I loved the game so much and more the characters. I just loved the characters. They were awesome. 🤘🤟🤠. I think creators should make other parts also with same Characters like Leon and Ada.
These guys did EXTREMELY great and hard job! I don't know what it is called to bring actors, put sensors and dots on them to simulate their body movements and facial expressions, NO they didn't do that it's all manual wow! One of the best game ever, I wish I can re experience the first time I played it.

I got my wii in 2013 and got resident evil 4 in 2014-15 its my first resident evil game and man its terrifying, so many puzzles and enemies but its hella fun the puzzles and enemies in 4-3 and 2 definelty got me, takes me forever to solve he puzzles

I watched this video back in 2005/2006, when I was 18/19 years old. Some of the people from back then will be working on the upcoming RE4 Remake. This is really great! I hope there is an upgrade to the body-specific damage system pioneered in the original RE4, and for melee attacks to return in some shape or form.

Actually you have to arigato Shinji Mikami for it. As creator of whole series and RE4. Capcom just make them money for it. They do not make a game they only sell. This was shown by the experience of those parts that were after successful RE4. I’m not trying to be smart ass just dot the “I”. Because Mikami also worked on his game Evil Within at TG.and after he abstracted from the project, this series was also destroyed by making a stupid sequel. Someone may say that it was a successful sequel. But in my understanding it’s like RE6 right after RE4.
