I've owned a 2014 V40 T5 Cross Country since new here in Phuket Thailand. Assembled in Malaysia 9 years ago and with most all OEM options, my V40 is rapidly approaching 40,000km. Initially designed by Volvo as the 50yr Anniversary version of the P1800ES...... the V40 remains a great car. No plans to ever sell.
got one used recently, a really nice car but one really painful downside - there is no iPhone or Android integration and the native navigation is a pain and not always accurate even with the updated maps, also you lose all the information about current speed limits and so on. There could be a solution since there is a way to add some "apps" through the Internet connection, but haven't found anything useful unfortunately
Am just doubting if this was filmed in the past. I can see that OSV and Car and Driving have uploaded a lot more videos of older cars, and take a look at how some of the features were presented. Am sure it’s an older one
I'm thinking to change my mitsubishi asx 1.6 117hp to this model 1.6 180hp cc. I see someone write about no connection android or iphone for gps it is true ?
still haven't flipped the handbrake to the right side, it is on the same left side as on regular European variant. And in the UK variant it looks like a passenger has to operate it 😂

Had the 2.0 D2 Geartronic for 7 years. It never let me down. 🙂🙂
Great to hear

Why does the V40 get 3 washer jets on the bonnet ?
And the 16 plate shown has no MOT !

@@jasonyu6649Yes, it’s definitely an older video. Due to the prices he was quoting 👍
I want one. 😍
Can it be driven on trails or only on a paved road?

The suspension is terribly on all volvo v40s

😂yes ..awfully sorry...it's an eyesore..the handbrake position 😣
In the UK handbrakes are normally on the left of the driver
Nothing wrong with the hand brake position its comfortable enough when using it, i have a V40 Cross Country D4
