Thank you very much, I appreciate your support!
Hola Junto con saludarte y darte las gracias por compartir tu buen trabajo, puedo saber cual es el liquido en que sumerges el señuelo después de pintarlo? Grs. Y saludos
Hello! I was using KBS Diamond Clear. Thank you for watching!
@@zimmtex Gracias por responder mi amigo, saludos.
how many grams? for sizing micro balloons for top water baits?
I want to try making a wtd lure 10 grams resin
The final weight on this one is 26 grams. I would experiment with your resin and and see how much micro-balloon powder you can get in there and still pour it.
Whats the purpose of clear coating befor the detials are painted? Is it just a smoother surface to work with or is there another benefit I'm missing?
It's a smoother surface, but also I wanted to get multiple layers of clearcoat for a more durable shell. KBS technically reccomends 3 layers for marine applications but I only did 2 for this one.
@@zimmtex hi friend... Can you help me??? What's the kbs? Where did you buy it? Time to dry? Thanks in advance.... 🙏👍
Can you make a jointed swimming crayfish lure, so it undulates as it swims like a dolpin swims? So up and down and not side to side. Of course crayfish swim backwards too
I've got an idea drawn out for a crayfish. Having it swim like a dolphin would be really difficult, I think. But this one would have buoyant claws that wave around in the water, then you pull it backwards in the water and make it click.
👍👍👍👍👍
Many thanks!
Looks pretty good. Dont think id use high dollar kbs thinner to clean my brush though lol 91% alcohol does a good job of that for me.
Thanks for the tip, I'll try to remember that!
@@zimmtex I brush kbs on swimbaits/jointed baits that I can't dip. I can't take full credit for the tip though lol a long time bait painter shared it with me lol
Been struggling to get the right action out of my wtd bats and you have given me a few great ideas about how to improve the bait... Especially the fostner bit/weight idea! Would it work if you made a cavity big enough so you could do screw in weights and get a floating wtd... Suspending/slow sinking wtd... And a sinking wtd? I'm going to try it!
Interesting idea! I've never attempted anything like that but I hope it works out for you.
I have goosed that idea around as well just haven’t come up with a good way to do it yet so if you do please share
Спасибо за отличное видео👍 оно вдохновляет
Thank you for watching!
New sub good stuff
Welcome to the channel! Thanks for the sub!
walking the dog was also Roger Clinton's go-to
:)
Great job as always. Do you allow time for the resin to degas before you clear coat?
Thank you! I really do try to give everything plenty of dry/cure time. Otherwise you really risk bubbles or even delamination.
I have actually gone back looking for this video thinking I have missed it so many times lol
Now we have the complete set! I appreciate you sticking with it and watching!
@@zimmtex hey you keep making videos then your stick with me lol
And I know why it took so long you got going on the grouper got distracted ( epic reason for distraction )
Great lure n video thanks👍🎣
Thank you for watching!
