To thicken sauce you can cut back on the water or add a couple cans of tomatoes paste…no water.

Another little tip. After you do one jar with the water, transfer that jar of water to the next. Your sauce won't be so watery . I need to make one myself been a few years... enjoy 😊

1 tsp.of baking soda takes the acidity out of tomato sauce. Add a tsp of sugar to make tomato products not so tart.
My mom always said use nutmeg sparingly
because too much nutmeg can be toxic.
A tsp.or 2 of ginger takes the gas out of beans. I wish I could enjoy tomato products but it flares up IBS the same for salad.Maybe that's why I love watching you enjoy all the tomato based meals with salads, because
I can only eat them on rare occasions and when I do I regret it !!
Eating rice and or bread helps a person with IBS.That's been my experience. If you're ever in Ohio and find a Marc's store They have a lemon, lime and cherry 🍒 rainbow sherbet.
Boy is it good!! Marc's is based out of Cleveland Ohio.Lyatt Sandee from Ohio 💜💜🙏🤟😊

Each family has its own version im sure “TRUE ITALIANS” have their own recipe too but doesn’t mean that Alicia’s or OUR versions isn’t authentic or right recipe… The end of the day it’s lasagna… Lasagna is meat sauce some type cheese usually mozzarella & ricotta & lasagna noodles or sheets whatever you want to call them for those “true” Italians… I probably called them lasagna pasta wrong too 😂😂😂
