Aminatou has always been an interesting Planeswalker. I'm glad they're using her more in the main story instead of having her be a spooky and powerful piece of lore bait. Topdeck/Miracles is an awesome archetype.

Just to note, because there is a ruling about this, enchantment spells do not get the cost reduction if they have X in their mana cost, its because you have to set the value for X after attempting to cast the spell and Aminatou's effect sets the cost reduction at the time its in your hand, before you establish a value for X

5:00 Fairly certain that X spells like Meathook don’t get discounted by Aminatou’s ability, since it is an alternate casting cost. Aminatou will determine what the casting cost will be before you cast it, and the value of X isn’t chosen until the spell is on the stack. X - 4 isn’t a casting cost. Still a good card, just not 4 mana better than usual.
Nope they dont. When aminatou is deciding the mana cost she sees x as 0. It says mana cost minus 4. So to determine what the cost would be placed on the card we would have to set x as zero since theres nothing determining it at that time. It really sucks cause theres some cool stuff we could use.
I'm not sure is like you say. I made some research and the cost reduction applies also to X. So as you cast you should be able to define X as 4 (for example) with his cost reduced by the miracle reducing effect paying 0 but still counting as 4... I wouldn't swear miracle could be considered a cost reduction though
The aminatou precon has a 2 card infinite. You left one of the pieces in. And removed the other. So you can have an infinite combo with only changing out 1 card instead of 2 (the divining top, although part of the proposed combo, goes in even with out the combo.
Yeah, it's a cool inclusion. I also would've put a decree of silence and solemnity combo if I could. I held myself back to make a more generalized version of the deck. I wanted to make room to show an enchantment creature strategy.
