This, whenever yu see Kerrigan in SC2, just rewatch/replay/remember this freaking mission. This mission shows Kerrigan in a nutshell, this is what she truly is. And this is why SC2 plot looks like it's a sequel of some AU SC than SC/BW.

When i was a kid, i lacked the skill for the game so i used some tricks like making ambushes with burrowed zerglings at a supposed places of tanks going in to a siege mode.
A.I. can't run of money practically. They are given tens of thousands of resources initially, and often if not always there is a trigger which gives them like triple or more minerals/gas for 1 collected unit of it.

Duke's not really my favorite character, but I think I can speak up as someone who liked him anyway. There's something just really funny about how lazy and corrupt he is, and how often he gets his ass kicked despite supposedly being this great general. Plus he sounds like a bad John Wayne impression, which is probably why he's named Duke. The mission where he gets the most dialogue and characterization, Biting the Bullet, was cut though, so I guess he's just remembered as being less interesting than everyone else.
Well, Duke isn't my favorite, but I liked his southern accent, or amusing rendition of it.
He could've gotten some more screen time, is all I'm saying.
This was a sad mission
Jayborino just so you know the devourer is meant as a support anti air unit. It's supposed to boost mutalisk attack damage against other air units by stacking spore buffs. Devourers have a slow attack speed for a reason on their own they're really not all that effective. Just to keep in mind for the next missions. You're doing great by the way

I'd like to think this was a soft indication there was some essence of humanity still in her, being exhausted from all the people she's double-crossed and killed to ascend to the heir of leader of the swarm. Either that or she is just literally physically tired from killing every day.
Terran and Protoss are resting? What for? The Zerg literally did all the work 😂
It would be an interesting challenge to play this level and not attack either base in the 6 minutes, just build up your economy and then take on two enemies.
It would be even more interesting if enemy behaved differently. Shame that the game forces your hand with lurkers at the start as warmongers.
I've never gone after the protoss first for fear my units would get killed, instead I always cleared out the first 2 terran bases in the first 6 minutes and set up my own bases there.
Your playstyle is definitely more entertaining than mine; I typically stick to overwhelming numbers. There was one time when I tried winning every zerg mission using only fully upgraded zerglings and this was a favourite map to do that on. Obviously General Duke needed different units but it was hilarious to watch enemies not able to decide what to shoot when 120 zerglings were rushing them.
yea i ALWAYS destroy the smaller 2 terran bases 100% .. its pretty easy to do within the time limit.... then once u set up in those 2 spots you have tons of income rolling in

According to my British friends:
UK English --- Murica English
Crisps = Potato chips

Fries = French fries
They have 2 kinds of fries, the thin kind (MacDonald's style, 'fries') and the thick kind (potato wedges).
So Fish n'Chips is fried fish and potato wedges, but they also have normal thin french fries if you just ask for fries.

Does anyone else think it's way harder to see the Nuke dot in Starcraft Remastered? I have yet to find one when they nuke in the campaign but I had no issues with it back when I played through 1.16.1.
This mission was pretty hard, but I just threw tons and tons of Zerglings at them.

I guess you could say it depends on the situation. Like there's no need to say ''cheers mate'' as a tourist that comes off as forced indeed. But when you need to order something there are like you said lingo differences and there will be confusion if you use american terms. Nobody will judge you for saying their terms because they expect you to in that situation. You have to because you don't expect them to know that you meant potato crisps for chips and fries for chips. But for example saying just thanks instead of ''cheers'' is okay because they know what you mean.
My sister works at a supermarket (I live in the netherlands) and one time some english lady approached her and asked for toast. My sister was confused because they don't actually sell toasted bread so there was a hiccup. Eventually she figured out the lady was simply asking for regular sliced bread or something. But I think in that instance she shouldn't expect people to know that she meant sliced bread when she said toast in a foreign country. Like in your case you can't expect people in england to know you meant crisps when you said chips.
Its funny the last things Jim say abount killing her and then on starcraft 2 it looks as if this event didn't happened
On the contrary, Raynor was quite set about killing her as much as tychus, but everething changed when Valerian came with the "cure" for her infestation, Raybir had akready seen that if she died the universe was consumed by Amon as the Overmind had forseen, all his wishes bace true, she had to live in orde to defeat Amon and with the artifact he had the means to save her and make her human again. The real strugle was when he got imprisioned and Primal Kerrigan saved him. He was so fucking angry 'cause everything he had made looked it was in vain and she had become zerg once again and now she had to answer for her crimes, she had to die. yet it was demostrated that though he was hell mad, he loved her.
Or you know... SC2 just has as weak plot...
I use the surprise attack period to take out both Protoss Nexuses and all probes. You take away their ability to rebuild/reinforce. You could do the same to Command Centers/SCV's on the Terran side if you find nukes more annoying.
See i did this map differently. I infested lefts CC, got ovie upgrades, and used them as bombers lol. Killed Fenix that way then Duke with a shitload of scourge :D
Oh Jay, did you know? You can hotkey a part of the map? I believe you do it with shift+F(2-6). Perfect way to save your other hotkeys
Fenix deserve to live more that Kerringan

Fenix has 800 health and 800 shield in this mission. He's basically as strong as two Torrasques. He could easily survive a direct nuke. That makes him a TOUGH unit.

Its not gonna be any challenge the main campaign after those hellish sc1 addons, eh? I struggled in BW and am having my ass handed to me on a plate on Enslavers 1...
The Vanilla SC/BW maps aren't difficult - some of the Enslaver missions, however, are legitimately difficult, mainly the final level, since you're constantly suffering attacks from Schezar's men, Zerg, and the Tarrasque.
your game speed is slow, press - or + to change it mid game in campaign
you keep getting nuked bc you dont spread your overlords all around the outskirts of the bases
