Thank you :D
I got the ragdoll model. Love it!
That's wicked. Glad you found a board you enjoy! :)
Just picked up this deck and I’m really in love with it, nothing like skating a shaped deck
Glad you’re enjoying it so much! Happy holidays 👍
This might be my next deck after I burn through my 8.5 popsicle, which might be the last. I'm pretty much done riding symmetrical shapes and I like the size of my old school setups, so this is a healthy compromise.
It's been one of my favourite decks I've ridden. There's just something perfect about the shape and flexibility it provides with skate styles
It’s amazing the difference an extra inch makes 🤓
Absolutely! Thanks for watching
Man looks like my Fav Hensley H Street board ! I loved that deck. Great off launch ramp Ollie’s !
I just picked up that deck for $55 !!! Awesome video🔥 😎🔥
Dude, that's an amazing steal. I hope you enjoy skating it! I've loved the shape thus far
@@brettsnowball I'm gonna sell it! Well try to, but I love these big boards and I usually skate a 9.125 or 9.25 and up! Right now I'm riding a Welcome Necromancer with Indy 169's and some Slimeball 66mm/78a ! Super smooth & squishy but flies like an eagle🦅 p.s the Mini Logo series 3 double RS bearings are a bit faster than reds and super reds! Pretty much SWISS specifications made you know where! But $10.50 a pack is amazing ⚡
@@burtman9649 Do you line skating the Welcome shapes? I've been eyeing a Nora board for awhile now just because that nose shape is so interesting
So Dope
Thanks for watching!
Keep rolling 🛹🙂✌️🇲🇽
Thanks! Wishing you all the best for 2022 ✌️
What do you think about the wheels ??? Can I put them as a longboard setup?
I think it would be best if you found some wheels specific for longboard. The axel length for skateboard trucks versus longboard trucks is different - skateboard is more narrow, which would result in wheels shifting around & you definitely don't want that!
Hi! I just want to know how wide it is at the narrowest point, is it 9.5 or were the specs measured from the widest point? Thank you!
Love krooked decks I wanna try that one out you have
skater never chooses the board, the board chooses the skater
Love that saying, thanks for watching!
great review!
Thanks Jack! Really appreciate it
recently got a shaped board from krooked with the size difference between the nose and the tail. what do you suggest doing with the trucks since there are different widths?
Hey Trevor, thanks for your question. I stuck with my regular 149s on both nose and tail. I wouldn’t recommend mix & matching truck widths as the variable distance between axels will make the skateboard catwalk and become unpredictable. That’s just my 2 cents though!
@@brettsnowball thanks dude. i figured to stick with one size. just wondering if i should find a middle ground between the sizes, or try to match either the front or rear width.
@@boombaloom If you're buying new trucks I'd go with 159s. They'll just give you added stability and be a versatile across decks from 8.5 - 9.5"
Is there enough space in front to make WB longer by drilling extra wholes? I mean before the concave/nose starts to go up?
I checked this morning, it looks like you've got about 3/4 of an inch before the concave, so safely you'd be able to add an extra inch to the wheelbase.
@@brettsnowball thanks, i don't want to move the rear truck, but 3/4 inch is good enough, it'll give me 15" which is cool.
Hey man love the vidz ! how is the board holding up ?? is it durable ?
Hey Jason, thanks for the comment! Deck is holding up awesome. I've really got no complaints - had one small chip in the nose, but aside from that the pop lasts forever and it's been a fun shape to skate.
@@brettsnowball cool man thanks for the response !
No worries dude. I just want to help anyone I can. Let me know if there’s anything special you’d like to see reviewed and I can add it to my hit list 🤙
@@brettsnowball Do you think that 8.75 trucks would fit the board ? And if you liked this Krooked board, maybe you could review other deluxe brands like antihero or real. I'm curious about the new batch of grimple stix boards 🤔
@@jasonmartins3376 159s (8.75) would be ideal for this deck. I'll check out the Grimple Stix boards too - great suggestion. Evan Smith's 9.1" looks great
This was a great review im a beginner (ik ollies, fs 180, pop shuv, manuals) I haven't got kickflips completely down would this deck be hard to learn them on ?
Yes, this deck would be really hard to learn kickflips on - but not impossible! I would suggest staying with your current set up until you’re able to get the flip rotation & catch down perfect
@@brettsnowball ok thank you
No problem! Skateboards that are between 8” to 8.5” will be easier to flip than something bigger, but it all comes down to personal preference
@@brettsnowball I'm pretty new to all this aswell, but I struggle to ride anything under 8.75, but I can still get my flips down just fine with a larger board, so its definately personal preference
Hey! When I first started skating it was so hard to land anything, but I gained so much confidence with the 9.25”, that now I’ve switched back to a 8.25 Hockey deck and it’s so much easier to catch, and pop tricks. I’d definitely recommend skating these bigger shapes to anyone. Glad to know that you’ve had the exact same experience
Slappys are super fun!
The best!
what truck size are you running? 54 wheel?
I’m running 159 Indy’s with a 56mm wheel here. I switched to a 54mm wheel later and it was really nice too
Correction** 149 indy’s
Are the wheels 60 mm ? any risers ? . cheers.
Hey, thanks for your question. Wheels are 58mm with no risers on this set up. Been skating it consistently and don't have a problem with wheel bite
@@brettsnowballNice one man .My son has the deck .Using indy 169 trucks.Loves it .Going to get mine soon. But seems the orange Krooked wheels have sold out in most places,uk.
@@chicowasp Just did a quick search for you and found a set of 54mm Krooked wheels at WorkingClassHeroes.co.uk - they're purple & 54mm size but still the same wheels I'm using and they're fantastic.
@@chicowasp Here's the direct link for them. Hope this helps you :D

@@brettsnowball Thanks Brett.
It’s a little tricky during kickflips but everything else is fine
I agree! The width and weight of the board make it really hard to flip nicely. But aside from that, one of my favourite skateboards!
Too bad it's got a 14.25" wheelbase. Anything under 15" and it feels like a freestyle deck to me.
Check out the other Krooked model they did for Ray Barbee - It's 10" wide with a 15.75" wheel base
@@brettsnowball Thanks bro, I will. Being 6'1" it's hard to find a wheelbase that matches my natural stance.
I feel your pain. I’m 6’1 also but wear a size 13 shoe. I’ve found it’s taken a lot of experimenting to find a set up that I like, and feeds comfortable under foot
@@brettsnowball Thanks. I started skating in '78 when the average dimensions were 10"×32" with a 15" wheelbase so I'm most at home on the old school re-issues.
@@rtornellort It's great you're still skating! The current marketplace reissues are perfect for you ✌️
