I agree with everything you said, I just want to add that Penix reminds me of Joe Montana. He is sooo smooth and he drops those deep balls not only in a place that they can be easily caught and impossible for a defender to make a play on the ball without going through the receiver. With his receivers running wide open he literally drops the ball into a spot that allows the receivers to just stick their hands out. No one has done it as effortless since Montana. It is almost like people have forgotten about what really should have been Montana's legacy but since he made the West Coast offense look so easy with the short throws, it seems like just how "hyper" accurate he was on the deep passes to Rice, Clark or Taylor. I'm a lifelong Longhorn fan and I have been waiting for a defensive line to take advantage of Ewers' pass trajectory. He has a release and an effortless "zip" on the ball, but it is low. Washington clearly had a plan to knock down his passes because it is clear he doesn't get the ball as high as most QBs. I haven't studied it enough to recognize what is causing that, but I hope he works on that everyday because he has the ability to be a NFL franchise QB, but only if he is able to get the ball up at least a foot at the line of scrimmage.
Washington looked like an NFL team. They were flying around to the ball and wrapping up, that OL was giving their RB holes and the QB a pocket to move around in. Pennix was damn near perfect. That’s no knock on Texas. They played a great game but you had to play with absolute zero mistakes to beat Washington last night
@@sterlingmarshel6299 3 mistakes. They should have kicked a long 3-pt field goal instead of going on 4th & 1 that failed. UW would have been up by 9 instead of 6 and still would've won by 1 if TX scored a TD & a 2-pt conversion.
Well, maybe their secondary is not #2 like Michigan's, but their run defense is #3. Michigan's is #8. And just for a little perspective, all of Michigan's opponents combined have 364 pass attempts. Texas opponents have 482 attempts. And, wait for it, Washington's opponents have attempted 519 passes. It’s embarrassing for Colin to go on and on about “knowing” fsu would have been “gashed,” etc. He simply doesn’t know this. That defense was tough. And don’t give me Iowa’s defense was tough, too, and look what Michigan did to them. If FSU deserved to be demoted, then the committee should have done that demotion the Sunday/Monday or whatever day it was after Travis was injured. Instead, they were allowed 2? 3? how many weeks of hope at #4? It all just capsizes on them after beating up Louisville on the last Saturday? There’s the argument, Colin!
Michigan doesn’t have to get to Penix to win. They need to keep the ball in front of them and possess the ball on offense shortening the game. It’s known and has been known since the first high flying offense arrived in the sport that this is the way. The question is wether or not you think Michigan can do it.
When EVERY college football analyst was suddenly convince Alabama would win, only this man (Colin) said "I think Michigan is better everywhere and will win". Give Colin his props.
I agree with his comments except for the last bit about FSU. FSU's bowl game against Georgia was absolutely meaningless since about 30 of FSU's players were out including most of their starters. It doesn't change the fact that FSU had earned a spot in the playoffs and might have won at full strength. But now we'll never know. Putting Bama and Texas (both losers yesterday) in over a more deserving, undefeated FSU was a travesty. I say that as a Michigan fan.
Anybody who thinks Texas was more "deserving" than FSU is delusional. I am disappointed in that last bit as well, but then again, he has the right to air his "opinion", since it's his show, right? Still doesn't mean he is right.
You left out "brilliant offensive line". Re-watch the Sugar Bowl and check out the Huskie's undersized center do his thing against the Godzilla of college football. The whole line is elite. The same can't be said for the Alabama line that Michigan just faced and trashed. Bama's right tackle looked like the best player in a high school game who suddenly found himself in the Rose Bowl. Overwhelmed. Texas blitzed Penix a bunch, but could never get home. He won't be the deer in the headlights that Milroe was. In fact, he welcomes the blitz, because he knows it puts his receiving group in an advantage. It should be a great game. Bombs away! GO DAWGS!
“Texas is Back!” Oh, wait…. Lost again. Rooting for the Fuskies, but I’m afraid UDub’s defense will be their undoing. Michigan’s offense will prevail and Michigan’s defense will hold up, barely, against Washington’s offense.
@@sterlingmarshel6299Utah didn't even shut us down. The only time someone ever really has was Arizona State when the entire team was sick and kept making dumb fumbles.

Harbaugh coached a great game and Michigan played a great game, but can we pump the brakes? He was down 7 with 3 minutes to go with a super old and veteran team. He’s not just going to continue making title games.
Not sure how wins and losses don't equal deserving at the end of the day. Do we deserve a paycheck because of our work? If so, then teams deserve wins and losses to matter, not an opinion by a talking head who really does not matter.
Nobody was saying “the only reason Michigan was winning because they were still signs”. Nobody doubted they were a pretty good team. But the fact that people just gloss over CHEATING is absurd
All the internet warriors are saying that, most of the media talking heads are not.. thing is people have selective hearing and come up with their own conclusions without listening to the facts..the investigation is ongoing but the big ten and ncaa have both said publicly they have absolutely no evidence of harbaugh or the coaching staff having any known involvement with the rogue guy doing this on his own with delusions of one day being an important coach at michigan..and the kids on the field playing their hearts out dont deserve the bashing they have received from so called adults
SMH. I week ago y'all was touting Bama, basically saying the committee got in right jumping them over Florida State. Saying QB was the main reason, but I think their QB could have played at least as well as Bama's who didn't play well at all.

How do you hold Urban responsible for what goes on in another coaches private life? It about eliminating the big 10 threat at the time because ESPN owns the SEC network. Better

It's a matter of time😂 all 32 QBs are going to be brothers
It’s embarrassing for Colin to go on and on about “knowing” fsu would have been “gashed,” etc. He simply doesn’t know this. That defense was tough. And don’t give me Iowa’s defense was tough, too, and look what Michigan did to them.
If FSU deserved to be demoted, then the committee should have done that demotion the Sunday/Monday or whatever day it was after Travis was injured. Instead, they were allowed 2? 3? how many weeks of hope at #4? It all just capsizes on them after beating up Louisville on the last Saturday? There’s the argument, Colin!
I worked at Brown Jug in ‘80. Yep, the burgers are forgettable.
Michigan doesn’t have to get to Penix to win. They need to keep the ball in front of them and possess the ball on offense shortening the game. It’s known and has been known since the first high flying offense arrived in the sport that this is the way. The question is wether or not you think Michigan can do it.
How can anyone not like Jim Harbaugh? As a 49er fan I love Kyle Shanahan, but I’d take Harbaugh back in a New York minute.
When EVERY college football analyst was suddenly convince Alabama would win, only this man (Colin) said "I think Michigan is better everywhere and will win". Give Colin his props.
Penix is the truth.
Bombs away! GO DAWGS!

Hope that’s true
Nobody can tell Harbaugh what to do, except his wife.
Thank you!
that “deserving” analogy did not work. Should have used a different one lol
Keep Jim in A2!
Why is this called The Herd? Is this Marshall University?
NEVER FORGEt - FSU deserved the chance to lose this game by 30! We should have been denied this game because a way worse team earned it!
Funny how many more Championships you can win if you are given extra chances by the voters.
What do u mean he wins immediately? He lost his first 4 years at Michigan…. It took him a while to build the type of Michigan team he has this year!
Go ahead and just say you believe Washington will Win
“Texas is Back!” Oh, wait…. Lost again.
Rooting for the Fuskies, but I’m afraid UDub’s defense will be their undoing. Michigan’s offense will prevail and Michigan’s defense will hold up, barely, against Washington’s offense.
yawn - we keep hearing that but no one has shut us down except Utah which is miles better pass rush than Michigan -- stats don't lie
@@sterlingmarshel6299 stats definitely lie dude hahaha stats most definitely lie all the time.
@@sterlingmarshel6299Utah didn't even shut us down. The only time someone ever really has was Arizona State when the entire team was sick and kept making dumb fumbles.
BRING IT ON! WE'VE ALREADY HAD JR's # IN THE B1G10. IT'LL HAPPEN AGAIN. CANT DROP DIMES WHEN YOURE GETTING PRESSURED EVERY PLAY
That's what Oregon and Texas said
Wait, I think I remember that in his one healthy year, he led his Hoosier team to victory over Michigan 38-21. I guess you're thinking of a different Penix....
Go Dawgs!! 💜
Harbaugh coached a great game and Michigan played a great game, but can we pump the brakes? He was down 7 with 3 minutes to go with a super old and veteran team. He’s not just going to continue making title games.
He still got there, Let people enjoy the season and its accomplishments.
Here...here..
Go Blue!
O’Brien was right. Milroe should not have played QB lol
What Colin always dramatizing like the game was 20 to 56 or something
Go Huskies!🙏🏼
If not for the special teams disaster that was a double digit score ball game at least. It is what it is.
Message to the corrupt CFP commitee: your idiotic plot to put Alabama in to beat Michigan failed miserably. Better luck next year.
Wins everywhere immediately? Took awhile at Michigan
I hope Harbaugh stays at Michigan too . He belongs there. Go Blue
Cheaters
Washington is for real go Dawgs
The Jim Tressel tattoo thing was the most overblown controversy in sports history.
SEC does the more money ESPN makes.
Michigan fan here. I agree. It was the SEC and ESPN blowing it out of proportion to get rid of OSU. Same thing w the Urban suspension. Coordinator has a private life. How do you hold Urban responsible for what goes on in another coaches private life? It about eliminating the big 10 threat at the time because ESPN owns the SEC network. Better
I still consider 2010 a loss for us
The curse of cowherd rears its ugly head again what he is saying about Michigan and Washington. Earlier this year he was saying the same things about Lincoln Riley and USC and Deion and Colorado if you remember.
Oh no, what a curse to play in the NCG, oh no...
Should Denver draft Penix? If he operates like a Brees, then he would be perfect for Sean Payton, right?
In case ya'll forgot, JH told his kids "those who stay will be winners".
Actually those who stay will be champions. Go Blue!
GO BLUE!
