Hadith Sahih Bukhari, vol. IV, chapter 88, page 108.
Narrated Ibn Umar that the Prophet said, “𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝘆 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗪𝗮𝗿 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝘁𝘆, and he who disobeys my orders will be humiliated by paying Jizya.”
Footnote number one says: 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝘆 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗪𝗮𝗿 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝘁𝘆
Allah gives a guarantee of heaven for Muslims who do jihad to kill or be killed. Qur’an, Surah At-Taubah, verse 111
Allah has indeed purchased from the believers their lives and wealth in exchange for Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah and kill or are killed. This is a true promise binding on Him in the Torah, the Gospel, and the Quran. And whose promise is truer than Allah’s? So rejoice in the exchange you have made with Him. That is ˹truly˺ the ultimate triumph.
Allah asked the believers to prepare with whatever force in their ability, such as troops, horses, arms to strike terror into the hearts of the unbelievers.
Qur’an, Surah At Taubah, verse 73. O you Prophet, strive against the steadfast disbelievers and the hypocrites, and be harsh with them. And their abode is Hell, and miserable is the Destiny!
Qur’an, Surah Al-Anfal (8), verse 60. Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power, including steeds of war, to strike terror into the hearts of the enemies, of Allah and your enemies, and others besides, whom ye may not know, but whom Allah doth know. Whatever ye shall spend in the cause of Allah, shall be repaid unto you, and ye shall not be treated unjustly.
During his lifetime, Prophet Muhammad did 27 Ghazawah (assaults which he ordered and in which he took part) and 72 Sarriyah (assaults which he ordered but in which he did not take part). He only stopped assaulting infidels when he died.
