Cops pull people over all of the time on traffic stops and let them go with a warning. This cop could have done the same thing. Unfortunately this cop appears to be have a huge ego and wanted to arrest the No.1 golfer in the world so he could get his 15 minutes of fame and go back and brag to the rest of his buddies in the Louisville Gestapo. It's crazy how everyone forgets there was a traffic accident in which someone died. Means paramedics, maybe firemen, tow trucks and drivers, are now extra people walking in, or around the road making traffic even worse. So maybe, just maybe, the cop was being over protective for safety. I'm sure we all want to be out in the rain, the cold, the early morning, for hours on hours, and then deal with annoyed drivers wondering why traffic is backed up. So he was over protective, no big deal. Someone's life just ended, and the lives of all their loved ones just changed. Who gives a s**t about a golfer that was late to work.

He pulled over immediately. They keep saying "10 yards" but it takes 1 second to travel 30ft in a car so let's drop that "being dragged" narrative. The cop was doing typical pig stuff and acting like a huge snowflake after the fact. This is clearly a made up charge. They even threatened a reporter with arrest just for asking questions. I'm calling complete BS on this incident. The police bodycam is always available to the public when it is beneficial to the police department. When officers are acting against policy (like this case) the bodycoma footage is never available. Just a complete disgrace to police departments all over the country. If this would have been an ordinary person such as myself confused over the traffic configuration (before or after a concert or a sporting event), I would still be in jail facing a felony.. The police system is completely broken.

The privilege all over this situation is mind boggling. Everyone doesn't need to know the number one golfer. And since when, when police have someone in custody, can you just walk up to a vehicle??? Let them do their job.
