I guess "flipping delicious" is trying to allude "fxxking delicious" 😅 Susie you are just too pure .....
First one"spooning something/someone"! I like this🤣
How enjoyable and interesting to learn British culture from you, Susie! Please make more of British humours like this!
中英字幕,太好了。😊
Love Susie‘s 略带俏皮的解说风格和纯正的British accent👍👍👍
I have lived in US for 15+ years and got so used to the American accent, but somehow found your British accent so relaxing and pleasant to listen to. Very good contents here!
你是最好的英文博主
多谢这期节目。学到了"Spoon it like you love it" 中的Spoon 是关于intimacy 🙂
超棒的影片,好用心
Thanks you introduce that many funny and clever advertisements, helping me to understand the culture of the UK. Wish you have a productive week!!
我想在一句特定句中換字應該不是pun的一種,換字梗是別的模式令人將主角和另一句句子聯繫起來,換掉的字沒有要求發音上的接近。一直都有在英/美劇中出現,應該是由來已久的一種humor。
很用心製作的影片🎉
I truly appreciate how Susie made learning enjoyable by a topic about puns. It really enhanced our understanding from different angles.
I found “100% poonami proof nights”absolutely hilarious and resonant, particularly as a mother.
i love it! 如果有雙關梗系列就好了!
充滿優雅和智慧的Susie
她的中文说的太好了.
谢谢戴老师的精彩讲解
謝謝你的分享與介紹❤讚👍
I have got one that I used before and you are right, all my friends laugh 😂
I said:
“The good one is relationship.
The bad one is relationshit.”
Not 100% a pun, but anyways, as a linguist, I love your video style so much and look forward to watch something like this next time 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
有緣人有緣分
無緣人有猿糞

謝謝分享,很有趣的英式幽默。I like it.
I do enjoy it!
布萊頓應該是英國最包容開放的城市😄❤️
I still remember on one year when British football team lost against Iceland, and they reported the goalkeeper saved nothing in Iceland!
感謝Susie分享英式幽默資訊😀😀🤝🤝我們下次見。
很好

Very interesting and useful video. I love your accent and the way you explain all the puns. Even from explanations I have learned a lot of practical words and phrases!
This video is really good and useful. Thank you,
Susie, 我在香港的電視看過一個關於Mattress 的 廣告,他們用了pun, "Sealy" 和 “Silly” 。 我覺得挺好笑的。當然要懂得英文才有“會♥微笑”的感覺。😜😜😜😜
早上好😀😀🖐🖐Susie
Gut 是德语 意思是 good
I had collected a few of them but not the last one was exactly the word can include all of explanation!Thank you for sharing!
讚辣!
Looking forward to Susie & 博恩 collaboration
Very interesting topic. I’ve learned a lot in this video. 😁
Finally saw your video again.🎉🎉
My english teacher, who also teaches drama, in 6th form likes puns very much. I still remember one:
When Cesar was assasined, he cried: "In-For-Me!" Which sounds like infamy.
Enjoyed the video. Thx
Best ever ❤
An interesting video. Most of the pun you mention in this video are flipping creative . I enjoy to watch and learn from you ,
這集解答了我不少在日常生活接觸到的產品廣告謎團,真是太有用了!謝謝。但是你的姓氏謎團仍是個謎😂
Thank you for telling us about the rules of British guns
I have seen a phrase 'We are nuts' printed on a packet of almonds
This one was the most impressed- Eco loo roll that doesn't cost a buttload!
Love this video so much. Good work and good presentation!
Also, there is a restaurant in Bristo called Pieminister 😂.
节目不错,立即收藏!
nice to see you again, long time no see you since your last video
Wow, Susie 變瘦了,恭喜。
waaaaaa~~~~very insteresting , thx and love u ~~~~~
Puns is actually means my Buns!!! Lolzzzzz
I have seen a truck of cleaning company
it says "talk dirty to me"😂
in italy, maybe in london also
there is a italy food shop called "eataly"
Yes, I saw that too 😄
舒萱这个发色好漂亮。

Thanks Susie. I believe the content of this video is a perfect example of what is called Immersion learning, metaphoric use in the world of English and I suppose it is the same in the rest geographically. In fact, we do have similar Chinese puns that requires no or minimum effort in understanding them. In my humble opinion, it is all about comprehension and anyone can understand if work hard in English learning. You are one of the few I had subscribed for your excellent Chinese proficiency. Keep it going!😀🤪
And I have seen one which I like it much, perhaps much better than the one in Pret A Manger.
There’s a coffee shop chain in Vietnam called “Passio”
And they have the small words below “PASSIO” - the passion with N 😂 so great!
想起了在利兹看到过的一则助听器广告,new ear's resolution
因为好色
Good , it's both interesting and entertaining , thank you pretty
good good
Thank you very much for your sharing! But I am wondering where can I look at the article you post?
www.susiewoo.com/blog/15-british-tv-shows
It just occured to me that 'gut' means 'good' in German, and it also sounds similar to good in English. So maybe from this perspective, it makes more sense😂. Whats more, thanks for making amazing videos!
How does Cinderella feel when she reached the ball?
❤
Spooning it like you love it ❤❤❤😂😂😂. Bumboo ❤❤😂😂 poonami 😂😂😂😱😱😱😂😂😂
Talking about puns . The impressive one I find is from a book of biography for Richard Branson . The book’s title call “ Losing My Virginity’”
戴老师好漂亮
It’s really an interesting topic and great explanation for the puns. I just noticed a minor typo of “proof” for the subtitle, but I don’t affect me enjoying this video.
You're so gorgeous today, love your hair.
中文真好,居然知道黄色是什么意思。
教你一個中文pun「我下麵給你吃!」🤭
❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍
I think “gut” maybe from German, which means good too.
Agree. And "gut" pronunciation in German is about the same as "good"
I sincerely hope Suzie can understand that using puns could offend people , especially calling names can hurt someone immensely.Puns are usually hurting and sarcastic, not very friendly ,usually it has a double meaning which is negatively inclined.Commercials and workplace like schools and offices have often an unhealthy and competitive ,unfriendly also exaggerated lifestyle especially targeting others for joy and entertainment even gossips which i terribly hated it.
Big ick energy is the best I assume 😊
I like the way you kiss your muscle, so powerful 😂
😂
Regarding Live the GUT life. is that relate GUT in German? Gut means good in German.
Could be!
I think the best translation for “Big dick energy” in Chinese / Japanese is “覇氣”! I actually looked for this translation for years. Thanks so much for your sharing! 👍🏻
Love Italy, the food and the culture. After this episode what we really need on the Jersey shore is flipping buttLoad of TiramiPoo (for TiramiSu)!!!
Talk about TV dramas from UK . I miss Benny Hill 😁. I love Mr bean too , but I can’t learn much English by watching Mr Bean cause he was performing with silent drama . Nonetheless, I can learn a lot of British sense of humour from Mr Bean by watching his drama instead 😁
“Gut” in German means “good”.可能是這個原因
Could be better for me if the pun photo is shown along side all the time when it is being explained like this (22:25). I always forgot the original pub line.
Abra-Kebabra _ a very funny name for the kebab shop
The Fish Plaice_ a fish monger in Glasgow
It's kind of cute 如果譯香港語不知怎麼樣?我們不說"可愛", 或者譯成“得意"會易明一點.
Innuendo hahaha
No new video!
18:34 18:35 is the word 'poof' mispelt?
想問一下,英國人如果遇到在咖啡店用英語講電話很大聲又講很久的人,會如何用英國人的方式請他/她講小聲一點?
请问怎么找到你建议的影片和TV的网站?
www.susiewoo.com/blog/15-british-tv-shows
Got to say, these puns are both hilarious and relevant in advertisements.
I get the meaning why they use the word “spoon” for a yogurt ad, because we use spoon to scoop or serve it.
Also, I thought the word “backside” was meant to be something at the back, now I get it from the video.😂
Susie you are such a punny bunny.
Pun, 谐音梗
And here I thought set-sy was trying to say "sexy" because feeling "sexy"? But uh...ya 🤔 it's confusing you're right
The sexy part seems to make sense, just not sure about the word "set-sy" ha
台灣也是對諧音梗很執著 超瘋 #台灣人沒有要放過諧音梗 😂
My only confusion is.. err.. do people always kiss their 💪 when they flex? 😅
